- [on being an activist with films as an actor and filmmaker] I started the company for class around 2000, but it turned into something more serious. We have a team and we work together on projects we're passionate about. It's not just for the money, but to engage our viewers in conversation. We're activists. In our films, we explore issues that matter, like the environment, pollution or addiction. Right now, I'm directing a project about male anorexia. Not many know about it, but it [can] be a serious problem.
- [on being the only original character in the film Shed (2013)] I had a brilliant time on this production as "George". I came onto the production very last minute-the morning of! I was of course hesitant-for numerous reasons; but WOW. In 20 years with over 200 productions, this one is in my TOP 10. Everyone was on he ball, we had a great fun time; but we're also professional and got it done. The interesting thing about this project is that is was a fairly tail world, but I(George) remain to be the only original character of the group. A new fairy-tale character; which being a character actor I was very happy to take on the character; as I really had a challenge in not having any previous characterization to draw from; a character who's unsettling emotions eludes audiences to think if he's friend or foe. I won't hesitate to sign onto another project with this group.
