On Friday night, Mediaite contributing editor Larry O'Connor appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight and discussed his column that slammed "foreign-born" Trevor Noah and James Corden for weighing in on the gun control debate in America.

Given yesterday's festivities, it was pretty easy to miss out on some of the more memorable Thanksgiving moments on cable news-- most of us were trying to keep our houses in order, after all. But should you have been awake at 6 Am and watching Fox News, you'd have found the party started way early, with Breitbart.tv's Larry O'Connor counting down the "Top Five Turkeys Of 2011," complete with a delicious-looking turkey leg and even more appealing bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon (to drown the pain caused by Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

As the snarling strains of "Another One Bites The Dust" echo on the world stage that is now rid of Muammar Gaddafi, and some Republicans rush to diminish any role that President Obama might have had in his demise, the producers of Fox and Friends know just where to turn to sort it all out. Host Brian Kilmeade assembled a panel made up of BreitbartTV editor Larry O'Connor, singer Judy Collins, and former SNL actor Joe Piscopo to debate former Rep. Pete Hoekstra's suggestion that the President give back his Nobel Peace Prize.

Fox & Friends' Steve Doocy hosted BreitbartTV Editor-in-Chief Larry O'Connor this morning to discuss reports of several popular websites that are now, supposedly, "dead or dying." The real target here, though, was obviously Gawker, who Fox says has lost 75% of its traffic since last year. You can almost audibly hear the axes grinding, as Fox extracts some payback for Gawker's unflattering coverage of Fox News, and O'Connor blames the whole thing on liberal hoity-toitiness. Gawker's Nick Denton immediately pushed back against the story.

Over the weekend, Gop frontrunner Rick Perry made a thuddingly poor comparison, equating the Civil Rights movement with the struggles of corporations and wealthy individuals. During a pitched Twitter battle with BreitbartTV Editor Larry O'Connor over whether Hardball fill-in Chris Jansing "lied" when introducing the Perry clip Tuesday (she didn't), I noticed that Jansing's introduction hewed suspiciously close to the headline of a Thinkprogress item on the same clip.

CNN contributor Dana Loesch and Mediaite's own Frances Martel got into a Mother's Day fracas that demonstrates how somewhat below-the-radar new media can trump their dinosaur forebears, at least in entertainment value. They appeared on Breitbart TV Editor in Chief Larry O'Connor's Stage Right webcast to debate Loesch's Mother's Day post at Big Journalism, and the sparks flew quickly. Martel told Loesch, "You're a little bit drunk," and Loesch called Frances a "b*tch" because, she explained, "You are a b*tch."...

The subject of continued attacks by conservative and anti-gay commentators, Fox musical dramedy "Glee" got a vocal defense from the President of GLAAD, Jarrett Barrios, on Friday.
"Fair-minded Americans are tuning in by the millions to inclusive shows like 'Glee' and 'Modern Family' because they don’t care whether someone is straight or gay – what they care about is seeing characters and stories they can relate to," Barrios told The Hollywood Reporter.
Barrios, whose organization gave a shared award to the two shows for "Outstanding Comedy Series," at this year's GLAAD Media Awards, made his comments in light of the criticism that followed a 90-minute, self-acceptance and tolerance episode of "Glee," featuring a cast performance of Lady Gaga's gay rights-anthem "Born This Way."
Before the episode even aired, conservative media critic Dan Gainor ripped creator Ryan Murphy, telling ABC News that it was Murphy's "latest depraved initiative to promote his gay agenda.

Often the target of conservative and religious criticism for its portrayal of openly gay high school students, musical dramedy "Glee" sparked rightwing rage once again Tuesday night for its special 90-minute gay-themed episode. And it should be of no surprise that Lady Gaga was at the center of the alleged controversy.
*Spoilers Below*
The episode featured Kurt, played by Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer, returning to his old school and receiving an apology from a closeted gay football player who had bullied him. Celebrating acceptance, the show's cast sings Lady Gaga's gay pride anthem "Born This Way," and all seems well at McKinley High once again (relatively speaking). But it's that coming together that has conservatives once again upset with the show.
Hitting out at show creator Ryan Murphy, conservative media critic Dan Gainor told ABC News that it was his "latest depraved initiative to promote his gay agenda.

Big Journalism Nails Olbermann (and Mediaite) for Unfair Treatment of Neil Cavuto’s Alleged Fat-cism
Just last week, Countdown host Keith Olbermann dinged Fox News' Neil Cavuto for an alleged act of hypocrisy, awarding him "Worser Person" for condemning Chris Matthews' remarks about New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's weight. when Cavuto himself had supposedly taken shots at then-nominee for Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin. We fell for it, but Big Journalism's Larry O'Connor dug out the truth, that the full segment revealed Cavuto defending Benjamin, after which O'Connor confronted Olbermann on Twitter. How do you suppose that went?...
