Exclusive: Veteran action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme is set to star in sequel Kill ‘Em All 2, which will shoot in the Caribbean island of Antigua from January.
The shoot is the first brought to the island by Italian producer Andrea Iervolino (Ferrari) after he was tasked last year by local authorities to grow entertainment investment opportunities in the West Indies, with a focus on enriching Antigua and Barbuda through film and TV shoots.
Iervolino is teaming up on the promotional push with Dario Item, Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda to Spain, the Principality of Monaco, the Principality of Liechtenstein and to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (Unwto).
Following the events that unfolded in Kill ‘Em All (2017), the sequel will see Phillip (Van Damme) and Suzanne retired from the spy game, living peacefully off the grid. That’s until their whereabout are discovered by Vlad the vengeful brother of their target from the first film.

Jean Claude Van Damme’s youngest son is facing several charges, including aggravated assault, after allegedly holding his roommate at knifepoint last weekend in anger that the victim called the police about an incident earlier that day, People confirms.
Authorities in Tempe, Arizona, claim 21-year-old Nicolas Van Varenberg refused to let his roommate leave their apartment early on Sunday after the victim had let concerned officers into the residence to perform a welfare check.
Police first responded to the scene after Varenberg allegedly punched the side of an elevator and suffered a bloody gash to his hand, according to a police statement obtained by People.

It looks like Jean-Claude Van Damme is embracing his inner goof in his latest, Rob Meltzer’s “Welcome to the Jungle”, which also happens to star Megan Boone, the female lead in NBC’s excellent “The Blacklist”. Other than that, well, there’s the Muscles from Brussels totally goofing off, and the film looks very fun, if kind of pointless. Then again, it is a comedy, and aren’t they all inherently pointless? Check out the trailer for “Welcome to the Jungle”. Try not to get eaten by tigers while you’re watching. The film finds Jcvd playing the improbable named Storm, a badass jungle expert or some such who leads a company retreat on a tropical island that, predictably, goes terribly awry. It co-stars Megan Boone, Kristen Schaal, Adam Brody, Dennis Haysbert, Rob Huebel, Bianca Bree, Robert Peters, and Eric Edelstein. Look for it in 2014 or thereabouts.

If writer/director Dominic Burns’ “Alien Uprising” sounds familiar, then it’s probably because you heard about the flick when it was called “UFO.” Since that sort of title doesn’t really fly in the North American market — plus it knocks you to the back of the Netflix and Redbox — the film is now known as “Alien Uprising.” Thankfully, it retains the cameo from Jean-Claude Van Damme, which is the only reason it’s getting covered here today. Sorry, everyone else. Damn aliens are itching for a split-kick in the face! Of course this isn’t Really a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. As far as I know, he only has a cameo in this thing (not that I’ve seen it or anything, but he does only appear way at the end of the trailer, and if he has a bigger role, you’d think they would show him more often). Dominic Burns’ “Alien Uprising” was formerly called “U.F.O.”, but I guess “Alien Uprising” sounds more “alien” and “uprising”-ish. Here’s the latest trailer for the film sporting the new moniker. The science fiction genre has become almost synonymous with big, Hollywood blockbuster productions, as we rarely see independent British directors attempt such a particular brand of filmmaking. However, Dominic Burns – who brought us How to Stop Being a Loser – ambitiously returns with U.F.O., a film about, you guessed it, a big bloody U.F.O.
We follow the lives of five ordinary people living in Derby who awake one morning to find all electricity and power shut off, and an immense alien aircraft hovering in the air above their heads. Amongst those searching for answers are the hot-headed Michael (Sean Brosnan), his new love interest Carrie (Bianca Bree), and friends Robin (Simon Phillips), Dana (Maya Grant) and Vincent (Jazz Lintott). Suddenly this regular group of friends are battling to survive, as the entire human race is put at threat by the alien army hovering pensively above…

So the three-movie idea is more likely down to financial demands than creative ones, and the now-notorious higher frame rate reduces cinematic spectacle to pin-sharp TV movie, but this is terrifically wrought escapism. Smashed (15)

Winstead shows impressive range as a young alcoholic teacher trying to get back on track. The familiar subject feels fresh applied to a new demographic.

U.F.O. hits our UK cinema screens today, and to mark the release of this ambitious British sci-fi, we caught up with director Dominic Burns, and star performer Bianca Bree.
U.F.O. follows the adventure of five friends, who awake one morning to find there is no power or electricity, and a big alien aircraft hovering above their heads. As tensions grow, it soon becomes a case of survival of the fittest, as the human race is seemingly at threat thanks to their new visitors.
Bree – daughter of Belgian action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme – stars alongside Sean Brosnan – (son of Pierce) and she discusses with us what it was like working alongside her father, and in particular her dramatic fighting scene with him.
Meanwhile, Burns – who directed the comedy How to Stop Being a Loser – is becoming something of a jack of all trades, but admits his future lies predominantly in action thrillers.

The poster for forthcoming UK sci-fi movie UFO is undeniably impressive. "Brosnan" it screams in massive letters, alongside "Bree" and "Phillips". How in the world did the producers manage to score a lineup like that? James Bond Pierce Brosnan? Founding member of the Royal Shakespeare Company James Bree? La Bamba Lou Diamond Phillips? All in one film! That's astonishing, especially when you consider the fact that James Bree has been dead for four years.
Alas, that isn't exactly the case. Take a closer look and you'll see, written above the surnames in tiny letters, the real names of the UFO actors. The film actually stars Sean Brosnan (Pierce's son), Bianca Bree (formerly Bianca Van Varenberg, daughter of Jean-Claude Van Damme...

Airborne’s Dominic Burns directed the indie sci-fi flick that also stars Bianca Bree, Sean Brosnan, Simon Phillips, Julian Glover and Sean Pertwe.
This story line has been overused, and I don’t think that Van Damme is enough to interest me. Would this be a film you want to see when it hits theaters next year?

Dominic Burns’s “U.F.O.” stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and his daughter, Bianca Bree. But mostly it stars Bianca Bree, with Jean-Claude Van Damme kinda showing up towards the end of the trailer with a shotgun. Judging by the limited footage of the Claudester in this two-minute spot for “U.F.O.”, I’m guessing Jcvd has a cameo. Or an extended cameo. One of those. The film itself, a British import, doesn’t look too bad if you don’t mind alien invasion flicks without a $100 million dollar Hollywood budget. Check out a poster and trailer for the film below when you get the chance. It started with a blackout, all power and communications down. Hours later city sized UFO’s invade the world’s skies. The international trailer for a film called UFO has unleashed its low budget fury on the interwebs. Airborne's Dominic Burns directed the indie sci-fi flick that stars Bianca Bree, Sean Brosnan, Simon Phillips, Julian Glover, Sean Pertwee and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Synopsis:
It started with a blackout, all power and communications down. Hours later city sized UFOs invade the world's skies. Then the war began...
Five friends attempt to navigate their way to survival amidst deteriorating chaos as the world descends into terror and anarchy during an alien invasion and interstellar war.
This story line has been overused, and I don't think that Van Damme is enough to interest me. Do you think this looks like a film you want to see when it hits theaters next year?

What if Skyline was British, didn’t take place in a big city apartment complex, and at some point Jean-Claude Van Damme shows up with a shotgun? That’s kind of the impression I got from the trailer for UFO.

That’s the plot to Airborne director Dominic Burns’ upcoming low budget British alien invasion flick UFO. The movie has garnered a bit more press than it probably would have thanks to the casting of Jean-Claude Van Damme, albeit in a small role. Getting him involved probably wasn’t too hard considering the film’s star is Van Damme’s adult daughter,...

The question has been answered – we are not alone! Good, now I can finally continue my life! Thanks U.F.O.! Now, in case you’re still wondering what the hell Jean Claude Van Damme is doing on this image, I will give you the answer to that question – he’s fighting against the Aliens in Dominic Burns‘ new sci-fi movie! Today we have a completely new poster and a pretty cool international trailer to share with you, but please guys – try to remain calm!
Well, the truth is that Van Damme is not an important part of the U.F.O. story. He actually stars as a retired military adviser in the movie. But, hey, when your daughter stars as the lead – you have to support her, right?
So, in case you still know nothing about Van Damme’s little girl, we’re here to present you Bianca Bree, who plays a lead role in the movie!

Here’s your first look at footage from brand new British independent movie UFO as we debut the very first trailer to the world!
UFO stars Bianca Bree in her first major film role alongside Sean Brosnan, Julian Glover, Simon Phillips, Sean Pertwee, Andrew Shim, Jazz Lintott, Peter Barratt, Forbes Kb and Maya Grant. There’s also a chap who appears towards the end of the trailer that you may have heard of with the name Jean Claude Van Damme!
As well as the trailer, we’ve also got another new poster for you to join the one we put up over a year ago, both of which I absolutely love! The scale of the film looks epic and I can’t wait to see it in it’s finished form.
Dominic Burns takes the helm as director in the movie which we hope is set to hit cinema screens...

If you’ve seen The Expendables 2, you’ve noticed that Jean-Claude Van Damme was part of that cast that included the biggest action star names in the world, such as Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham and the legendary Chuck Norris. In the film, Van Damme plays a character named “Jean Vilain” – the lead villain in the film – and this was the fourth time Van Damme played a villain role during his acting career. The kind of actor who can change the skin of the macho man type of roles he usually plays.
So now, the international superstar’s latest film, 6 Bullets, explodes onto DVD and Digital Today (September 11th). Veteran mercenary Samson Gaul (Jean-Claude Van Damme) knows that in the heat of battle, every bullet counts. This one slipped under my radar, folks, and I apologize. However, I don’t think I’ve missed anything too important, thought that’s really no excuse, now is it? What’s more, I think I’m in danger of losing my fanboy card, which I obviously can’t live without. Below you’ll find a batch of images from the upcoming Jean-Claude Van Damme action/thriller “6 Bullets”, a motion picture about a guy who specializes in finding missing children. One guess who Van Damme plays. An official synopsis. It’s not really that informative: An ex-mercenary known for finding missing children is hired by a mixed martial arts fighter whose daughter has been kidnapped. See? Not a lot of information there. “6 Bullets”, which also stars Joe Flanigan and Bianca Bree, opens in the Us this July. DVD? Blu-ray? VOD? Select theaters? I’m not sure. I’m sure we...

How To Stop Being A Loser gets its release this coming Friday and you can read our generally pretty positive review right here.
As part of our coverage of Loser, I recently interviewed its director, Dominic Burns about the film, his development as a director and the exciting new projects he has in the pipeline. We also spoke to the film’s leading man, Simon Phillips, and you can read that interview here.
HeyUGuys: You acted for a few yeas before turning to directing, how did that progression come about?
Dominic Burns: I had always wanted to be an actor. Then we were setting up Cut [2010 horror film which Burns starred in and wrote] which was going to be the first ever single-take horror film. For it to work, the location was absolutely key and that changed at the last minute, which meant the guy scheduled to direct couldn’t any more. By that point I was...

Title: Assassination Games Director: Ernie Barbarash Starring: Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins, Kevin Chapman, Ivan Kaye, Andrew French, Serban Celea, Michael Higgs, Kristopher Van Varenberg, Bianca Van Varenberg If or when extraterrestrial aliens ever dissect the full and complete library of our entertainment options, they will surely be somewhat puzzled by our fixation, per capita, on lawyers, ER doctors and hitmen. Murder, of course, in theory represents the ultimate in dramatic stakes, but given the genre preoccupation with for-hire killings, one could be forgiven, from the outside looking in, for thinking this was a growth sector with no tangible ceiling. The latest movie to till this earth is Assassination Games, the first action entry...

This might be the weekend that Jean Claude Van Damme truly makes a comeback. We ran the official trailer for Jcvd over the weekend, which has garnered an enthusiastic response, and now we've got some photos of Jcvd in yet another film. Full Love is Van Damme's latest project that he wrote, directed, and is starring in along with his two children, Kristopher and Bianca Van Varenberg. Apparently there isn't an official plot available, but it's described as "based on a true story, based in another reality" and "about love, friendship, and dedication." Thanks to Twitch, we've got our first look at Van Damme in the film. There are a few more photos that can be found over on Twitch. I've featured the best of the batch below for your viewing pleasure. Does this look like it could potentially be an interesting feature film? I don't want to start making...

In his quest to reinvent himself can Jean Claude Van Damme go two for two? With the Us theatrical release of the stellar Jcvd drawing near - and while it’s nice to be quoted in the new Us trailer it would’ve been even nicer if they’d gotten our URL correct - we now move our attention to Full Love, the new project Van Damme wrote, produced, directed and stars in.
Very little is known about Full Love at the moment other than that it was shot in Thailand and is a very personal project for the man behind it, so personal that two of his children - Kristopher and Bianca Van Varenberg - both have roles in it. As for Van Damme himself, he describes it as being “based on a true story, based in another reality”, which is as confusing as it is intriguing. Beyond that...
