Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis just can't stay away from each other.
The pair, who scored the top prize on Dancing with the Stars in 2014, will be reuniting at his upcoming dance extravaganza, Sway: A Dance Trilogy, on June 5 and 6 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
"I can't stay away," Chmerkovskiy, 35, tells People about his former dance partner. "We love working together. Any opportunity I get to dance with her is welcome."
The Olympic gold-medal-winning ice dancer, 28, took part in her first Sway production in December but could only make it to one of the performances because of her busy schedule.

Dancing with the Stars on Monday night featured the six remaining couples dancing one "America's Choice" dance and a trio with one of the other pros.
Dancing With The Stars Recap
Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson danced a foxtrot Monday night. The two brought a combination of class and fun to the ballroom routine. However, it doesn’t particularly stand out as much as dances in this late stage in the competition should. Scores: 9+9+9+10=37
Taking on the Viennese Waltz this week was Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd. Though he’s been shaky the last couple of weeks, the veteran comedian gave a solid performance, stumbling just once towards the end of the routine. Scores: 7+8+7+7=29
Per America’s request, Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev did a samba while channeling sexy cats. Lea, taking the advice from the judges, made an effort to let go a bit more throughout the dance. But,...

Then Alfonso Ribeiro & Witney Carson danced the Foxtrot for an excellent 37 out of 40 score from the judges. Tommy Chong & Peta Murgatroyd gave us a Viennese Waltz for a less than ok 29 score. Lea Thompson & Artem Chigvintsev rocked out a Samba routine for a cool 34 score. Bethany Mota & Derek Hough served up a Viennese Waltz for a very good 36 score. Sadie Robertson & Mark Ballas performed a Jive number for a 33 score. Janel Parrish & Val Chmerkovskiy danced a rockin Quickstep that landed them a great 38 score. After a break, the celebs served up their 2nd dances of the night in a trio fashion when the pros invited another pro to join in. Talk about a ballroom bombshell! It looks like Maksim Chmerkovskiy won't be the only fan favorite professional dancer opting not to return to Dancing With the Stars for its upcoming season. The ABC reality hit revealed its line-up of professional dancers for Season 19 on Good Morning America Wednesday, and a few beloved pros were on hand to make the announcement: Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani, Cheryl Burke, and Val Chmerkovskiy, Maks' younger brother, all of whom are returning. (Phew!) But that doesn't mean there weren't some shockers as Sharna Burgess and Henry Byalikov are out. Season 17's Tristan MacManus and Tyne Stecklein will not return, either. After winning last season with Meryl...

Week two of "Dancing With the Stars" brought the season's first elimination, but two celebs were sent home instead of just one. Sent packing were two of last week's three lowest scorers: swimmer Diana Nyad and Henry Byalikov, and hockey player Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff. Nyad earned a combined score of 18 from judges last week and ranked second in our users' predictions for elimination. Her ouster was revealed mid-show, but judges still gave her the chance to perform the cha-cha she had prepared for the evening. -Break- Avery's elimination was announced at the end of the show, after he received a respectable 21 from judges for his salsa, up from the 20 he earned last week. Our users' had ranked him third among stars likeliest to be eliminated. Our best bet for elimination -- 76-year-old "Star Wars" star Billy Dee Williams -- got a stay of execution thanks to support from fans.

Not only did contestants learn right at the beginning that there was a double elimination to take place during the show, but the leader board's lowest scorer Billy Dee Williams – whose face expressed fear of being sent home – was saved almost immediately, and went on to dance a 15-point tango with Emma Slater that judge Len Goodman said "didn't have enough attack."

"Dancing with the Stars" Season 18 was pretty brutal in week 2 of the competition. Not only was there a double elimination -- which took out Diana Nyad and Henry Byalikov, then Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff -- but the stars had to hear they were eliminated before getting a chance to dance a performance worked on for a week.
Were Diana and Sean even the right choices?
Related: All of the week 2 scores and dances.
In terms of actual dance abilities, the obvious pick for elimination would be Billy Dee Williams. He isn't dancing well, even with partner Emma Slater doing an impressive job of putting on a show. But who could eliminate Lando Calrissian in the first week? We might get more Ewoks, after all!
Who do you think should have gone home? Vote in the poll below!

"Dancing with the Stars" Season 18, week 2 double elimination: Scores and dances
In week 2 of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 18, the pressure hits for the first time -- two couple begin and dance through the show, already the victims of the first elimination. Here are all of the scores and dances for the March 24 episode.
Drew and Cheryl are declared safe at the beginning of the episode, before their dance.
Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke
Dancing the jive
Drew is very into this competition. He's far from the best competitor, but he may be the most committed to his performances.
Bruno: "You're so in tune with what the public wants!"
Scores: 7+7+7 = 21
Billy Dee and Emma are safe. (Apparently, this makes Diana Nyad angry) So are Meryl and Maks. Danica and Val also are in the safe club.
This must be awful for the remaining dancers.
Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dancing the samba
Yellow.

Dancing With the Stars kicked off its 18th season Monday night, introducing the 12 new partnerships, Brooke Burke replacement Erin Andrews and a number of other changes designed to keep the dancing show fresh.

var brightcovevideoid = '3291597619001'; From former child stars to young musicians, the 18th season of Dancing with the Stars is filled with an eclectic mix of competitors. But the most interesting may be the casting of Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Davis, 27, and White, 26, ruled the rink at last month's Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, winning the gold medal in ice dancing. Now they'll battle in the ballroom - but against each other for the mirror ball trophy. White will dance with Sharna Burgess, while Davis will shimmy with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Valentin's brother, who is back after taking last season off.

The Dancing with the Stars ballroom was jolted once again on Monday night with another shocking elimination that roused the judges to their feet in dismay.
[Spoiler Alert: Results from the show revealed below]
With the Mirrorball Trophy being awarded in just two weeks, the celeb dancers worked hard to be at their pinnacle in Week 9 as they took on an individual dance and a trio dance with an eliminated pro or member of the troupe.
Amber Riley got the ballroom moving first with an energetic quickstep with her partner Derek Hough. Although the judges seemed to enjoy the routine, they didn't back their sentiments with their paddles. The Glee actress was given her lowest score in six weeks, 24, for her quickstep.
Although the usually leaderboard-topping dancer later earned a 27 for her trio salsa, she was slotted second to last on the leaderboard with her total of 51/60 when all was said and done.
Nevertheless, Riley still remained far above the depths of last place, which...

He's dealt with hiccups before, but a new injury may force Derek Hough to skip tonight's performance on "Dancing with the Stars" (October 28).
According to ABC, a severe back injury means the pro may sit Monday out as a source tells E!, "He's getting treatments now. He's not doing dress rehearsal."
If the 28-year-old doesn't dance, Henry Byalikov will instead take the hand of Amber Reilly for her performance.
Tweeting a photo of himself getting an injection in his back, Derek wrote, "This is happening ... Ouch !" In 2011, he previously hurt his back while dancing with Shawn Johnson. Stay linked to GossipCenter for news on Derek Hough's recovery.
