Successful all-rounder for Gloucestershire CCC who captained the side with great distinction, leading them to many trophies. Played a few one-day Internationals for England.
Coached Gloucestershire for a few seasons just prior to and just after his retirement as a player.
He was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2004 Queen's New Years Honors List for his services to Cricket.
He is based in Hanham, Bristol, England. (July 2008)
