Gisela Adisa

Gisela Adisa is an American actress born of Caribbean and West African immigrants. She played Sandra in the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic award winner, 'Nanny', which premiered at Sundance '22. She also played the lead in the award winning indie film, 'Shield.'
Other projects of note include the heist hit, 'Kaleidoscope' and the Starz Network series, 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan,' under the direction of Mario Van Peebles. She voices the Tooth Fairy in Dreamworks' Animation TV series, 'Dew Drop Diaries' on Netflix.
Gisela is also a Broadway alum who was nominated for Best Actress by the L.A. Alliance for her performance opposite Dulé Hill as Eartha Kitt in 'Lights Out: Nat King Cole' at L.A.'s Geffen Playhouse. She originated a role in Diane Paulus' Original Revival Cast of '1776,' which started at the American Repertory Theater of Harvard, before continuing on to Broadway. She then played the lead role of John Adams in the national tour of of the same production, performing at several critically acclaimed theaters across the country, including the Ahmanson in Los Angeles and the Kennedy Center in D.C.
