From a young age Lylah Michelle Dixon knew she wanted to be an actress.
Movies and theatre fascinated the pint sized, energetic child but it
wasn't until she began consistent acting classes in 7th grade that she
truly fell in love with the craft. Lylah continued to hone her acting
skills by appearing in every stage production her high school put on,
including "George Washington Slept Here" and "Once Upon a Mattress".
During her senior year in high school she was cast in the award winning
series "ESPN Sportsfigures" alongside Tony Hawk and got her first taste
of being on a film set. Upon graduating high school she was accepted
into the USC School of Theatre and participated in numerous theatrical
and film productions. Immediately out of college Lylah landed a role in
a feature romantic comedy and a guest starring role on "The Ex-List"
which featured current Twilight Saga cast member Elizabeth Reaser.
Lylah continues to act and study her craft throughout Los Angeles and
San Diego. She enjoys traveling, hiking, trying out new recipes and
hanging out with her rescued Chihuahua/rehearsal scene partner.
Lylah is a published writer. Her article "Play of Life" is featured in the book Teen Ink: What Matters by Stephanie H. Meyer, John Meyer, Peggy Veljkovic - 2003.
