Not a lot’s happened so far on Season 5 of “Yellowstone.” The last five episodes have talked around some issues, but if you had to describe this season to someone it boils down to: John Dutton hates being governor; Beth has regrets; and the occasional cowboy thing.” But at the end of Sunday night’s episode, “Cigarettes, Whiskey, a Meadow and You,” we saw the wheels start to turn in the mind of John Dutton’s adopted eldest son Jamie (Wes Bentley) that makes me wonder: Is Jamie Dutton gonna murder someone again?
“Wait, Jamie murdered someone?” you ask. Don’t worry if you forgot, the series hasn’t exactly done anything to remind viewers of it. In Season 2 Jamie accidentally murdered New York Magazine journalist Sarah Nguyen (Michaela Conlin) and enlisted Rip (Cole Hauser) to make it look like Sarah just decided to go kayaking one day….in professional clothes apparently.

“Yellowstone” is making its long-awaited return! The beloved series is gearing up for its fifth season premiere, and Et is getting you ready by taking a look back at all the goings-on in the Dutton family to this point.
For “Yellowstone” newbies, the Paramount Network series stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the family patriarch behind the country’s largest contiguous ranch. As John deals with drama from both his adult children and the ranch’s employees, he’s also facing threats of violence, working to stop land development in his state, and, oh yeah, becoming the governor.
All of that is just the tip of the iceberg, though, as “Yellowstone'”s drama extends far beyond John. Keep reading to see where season 4 left off, and to learn what the actors have teased to Et about what’s to come in the weeks ahead.

One of the issues surrounding Season 4 of the Paramount Network juggernaut Yellowstone was how often it would switch storylines and lose focus. While showrunner Taylor Sheridan may look comfortable in a cowboy hat, creatively, he may have worn too many hats this past year, working on at least three shows concurrently. Season 4 not only spent time setting up proposed spin-off 6666, but often gave flashbacks of the Dutton clan in 1883, basically using Season 4 as advertising for all his other shows (other than Paramount+’s unrelated Mayor of Kingstown). Yet, there might be hope for Yellowstone Season 5.
With the premiere seasons of 1883 and Kingstown essentially finished and under Sheridan’s large-buckled belt, it seems like he can once again focus solely on the visceral story beats to which Yellowstone fans became accustomed. So once Season 5 hits, what can we expect? While there weren’t any massive cliff-hangers similar to the end of...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Yellowstone Season 4, Episode 7 “Keep the Wolves Close.”] “I’m just full of surprises,” John Dutton (Kevin Costner) tells Governor Perry (Wendy Moniz) in the latest Yellowstone episode, and in this case, it means especially bad news for Jamie (Wes Bentley), who’s already estranged from the family that adopted him. As for Beth (Kelly Reilly), who’s made her (murderous) feelings about her brother very clear, she very much enjoys the position he’s in by the end. While Jamie spends time with his son, his biological father Garrett (Will Patton) floats the idea of him as a politician — specifically governor — to his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Christina (Katherine Cunningham). And he’s not the only one thinking that. In fact, Perry later tells John that she’s planning to run for senate (to go where she can make the biggest difference) and endorse Jamie to take over for her.

If ever you’ve watched Katherine Cunningham work and appreciated her sheer talent, it’s because she’s been in this line of work a long time. She’s not a newcomer to the world of acting. She’s been doing it her entire life, growing up alongside her parents in the local theater. Her knowledge has helped her refine her skills over the years, and that combination has turned her into one of the most talented actresses on television today. She’s doing big things for her own career, and she’s not showing any signs of slowing down. 1. She’s From the Midwest She was

Yellowstone Season 2 Episode 3
John Dutton (Kevin Costner) has big plans for his son Kayce (Luke Grimes). Not only does he have him ordering around the ranch hands at the family’s Yellowstone Ranch, despite the misgivings of star employee Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), but the patriarch is also trying to get his would-be successor into the Livestock Commission Office he occupies -- to better protect the ranch. Yet all of this conflicts with Kayce’s own feelings about his newfound line of work, and whenever he tries to do things a little differently, the system fights back.
Or, as ranch hand Lloyd Pierce (Forrie J. Smith) puts it to Kayce, “Different never works.”
This very well may have been a working title for “The Reek of Desperation,” the third episode...

At&T Audience Network’s thriller series Condor, adapted from the Oscar-nominated film Three Days of the Condor and the screenplay Three Days of the Condor by Lorenzo Semple Jr. and David Rayfiel, stars Max Irons as Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst who unwittingly becomes the center of a major conspiracy. Today’s Deadline’s The Contenders Emmys Condor panel offered an unusual perspective on the show by assembling the actresses who play the very important women surrounding Joe in this complex and compelling story.
The panel, moderated by Peter White, included Mira Sorvino, Christina Moses, Kristen Hager and Katherine Cunningham. The series also stars William Hurt, Leem Lubany, Angel Bonanni and Bob Balaban. Brendan Fraser guest stars in the series created by Jason Smilovic and Todd Katzberg.
As has been the case with many of today’s series panels, the women had a difficult time speaking about their characters without revealing their fate.

"It all started when the werewolf came back to town..." A24 has delivered a new full-length red bad trailer for their funky new horror film Slice, directed by Austin Vesely, and starring Chance The Rapper (aka Chance Bennett) as a pizza delivery guy who gets into some serious shit. As they reveal in this trailer, the more specific plot involves murders: "When a pizza delivery driver is murdered on the job, the city searches for someone to blame: ghosts? drug dealers? a disgraced werewolf?" The cast includes Zazie Beetz, Rae Gray, Katherine Cunningham, Marilyn Dodds Frank, Will Brill, Y'lan Noel, Hannibal Buress, and Paul Scheer. This looks way more bloody and violent and crazy and cool and wicked fun than I was expecting, which is good because it has been such a long wait to finally see more. We've been posting teasers since last year! But this trailer seems to...

Mind Games Review
ABC/Bob D’Amico
Mind Games, hitting on ABC February 25th, has a lot of things going against it before it even airs, and it’s difficult to judge the chances of overcoming the hurdles, no matter how much you might hope it will. Not only is Christian Slater having a rough run when it comes to TV series, but the show is also the creation of Kyle Killen, who just can’t catch a break.
With past projects Awake and Lone Star (both of them solid shows that deserved far better treatment) falling rather quickly, it’s hard to look at Killen as someone who can put things out that audiences will really get behind, or that will convince networks to stick with for an extended run if they have slow starts.
Our story here is that of Ross (Slater) and Clark (Zahn), brothers who are...
