Tim is a Los Angeles raised film maker and visualist who received
a BA in film studies from U.C.S.B. During this time, he was selected to
direct a short narrative/documentary film entitled Public Damage. This
kick started his career as a director and visual artist. After
finishing his studies, he participated in several productions as well
as continuing his personal projects. He shot and edited numerous action
sports videos, screened experimental film collages in art galleries
throughout Los Angeles, and produced instructional videos for health
care professionals. In 2009 he made a splash with The Aphrikan, a short
horror film that screened and won awards at several film festivals
throughout the world including: The New York City Independent, San
Diego Black Film Festival, and the Cannes International Film Festival
in France. He also performs as a live visualist accompanying several
bands and DJ's at such well known venues as The Roxy, The Whisky, and
The Hammer museum. His work as a visualist is an integral part of the
burgeoning Echo Park/Silver Lake underground arts scene. In early 2011,
his latest short ½ Life, screened and won best Sci Fi short at the IFQ
film festival in Hollywood.
