Carrie Fisher continues to be remembered by fans, friends, and family.
The late actress' brother, Todd Fisher, helped honor her memory at the Tcl Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, just hours before Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released in theaters.

Now that's how you slay a red carpet!
Billie Lourd stepped out at the world premiere for Star Wars: The Last Jedi looking regal and glamorous in a floor length, sparkling silver Tom Ford gown. She kept accessories minimal, and rocked a high, braided hairstyle, slightly reminiscent of a look her mom, the late Carrie Fisher, wore as Princess Leia in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
The premiere was presumably bittersweet for Lourd, given it's the first Star Wars premiere without Fisher, who died last December after undergoing cardiac arrest.
Ethan Miller/Getty Images
But Lourd wasn't the only star serving looks and doing Leia proud on the red carpet.
Daisy Ridley took the idea of celestial glam and heightened it in a stunning sequined gown by Monse, adorned with silver stars, and paired with sky high metallic heels.

Woo hoo! Law & Order: Svu Season 18 Episode 10 marks the series' 400th episode.
Some shows would have celebrated this major milestone with a flashy episode that was more pomp and circumstance than story. I'm thrilled that Svu did not.
It had a talented guest cast, including soap alum Daniel Cosgrove, and what appeared to be a sensationalistic crime, but nothing was done just for ratings. There was also a compelling story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the credits rolled.
"Motherly Love" was a psychological thriller, plain and simple.
The major question before the detectives this week wasn't who raped who, but how far a woman with narcissistic tendencies would go to protect herself and what to do to make sure her teenage son didn't suffer any more than he already had.
Fin: She's a stone-cold liar.
Benson: She is a psychiatrist who is sexually abusing teenage...

As Hollywood royalty, Carrie Fisher may not have needed to be prolific, witty, and endearing, but she was all of that and then some.
The daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds, Fisher was born into the industry. She made her onscreen debut in 1975's Shampoo, but it was her role as Princess Leia in 1977's Star Wars IV -- A New Hope that shot her to overnight fame.
Fisher -- who died at age 60 on Tuesday, four days after going into cardiac arrest aboard an airplane -- was more than just an actress, however. She was also a successful writer, penning many books including the semi-autobiographical novel Postcards from the Edge in 1987 and its subsequent screenplay; an autobiographical one-woman play and its nonfiction book, 2008's Wishful Drinking; and her most recent memoir, The Princess Diarist, released this year. She was also an impressive script doctor, polishing a number of well-known movies in the '90s...

It’s always awesome to see A-list stars go out of their way to bring some joy and happiness into people's lives. Although I support Team Cap, I’ve gotta give Team Iron Man props because Robert Downey Jr. visited a children’s hospital before the premiere of Captain America: Civil War. A collection of photos of the actor’s visit were posted on Twitter by the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in London.
While there he met with several kids including 7-year-old Ethan Miller from Southend, Essex, “who suffers from the rare blood disease Itp as well as type 1 diabetes. Miller was dressed in costume as his favorite Avenger, Iron Man, as he posed for pictures with Downey alongside his parents, Kristie and Lee.”
These kinds of selfless acts bring joy and happiness into people's lives. Downey Jr. has proven once again that he is a stand-up individual with a heart of gold.

#TeamIronMan has some little—but mighty—new members. Robert Downey Jr., 51, visited the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London Monday, where he met with several young fans hours before the Captain America: Civil War's European premiere. Downey spent time bonding with 7-year-old Ethan Miller from Southend, Essex, who suffers from the rare blood disease Itp, as well as type 1 diabetes. Ethan was dressed in costume as his favorite Marvel superhero—Iron Man, of course—and posed for pictures with Downey and his parents. "Ethan has been in and out of hospital a lot in the past three years. He watches the films all the time and virtually lives in his Iron Man costume," Ethan's father,...

Olympian and reality TV star Bruce Jenner has booked a two-hour interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer for later this month, the network announced Monday.
Jenner, who has reportedly been undergoing treatment to transition into a woman, has been mum on the subject as rumors have swirled around him over the past few months. Though the network declined to provide specific details about Jenner and Sawyer's conversation, ABC did note that the interview would be "far-ranging and exclusive."
Jenner recently separated from wife Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian family, and has appeared on every season of E!'s insanely popular reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." He was reportedly in the process of shooting his own companion series for E!, allegedly detailing his gender reassignment, though plans for that show have been kept under wraps in light of Jenner's involvement in a fatal car crash in Malibu, California in February.

After 15 seasons with CBS stalwart "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," George Eads is leaving the show.
Eads, who has starred as Nick Stokes since the show's pilot, is planning to exit the series following the close of its current season. He is the last remaining original "CSI" cast member, following the exit of Paul Guilfoyle (Capt. Jim Brass) after the end of season 14 earlier this year.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that Eads's decision to split was "an amicable one" with CBS. The network had previously downgraded the 15th season of the show from 22 to 18 episodes, the first time it's ever reduced "CSI"'s episode order.
Eads's exit is just the latest in a revolving door of casting shakeups that have been ongoing throughout the last few years of the show's run. Per THR:

Comedian Hannibal Buress is getting a lot of attention after he called Bill Cosby a rapist during a stand-up show in Philadelphia last Thursday. Hannibal said, "Bill Cosby has the f*ckin' smuggest old black man persona that I hate. He gets on TV, 'Pull your pants up black people, I was on TV in the '80s! I can talk down to you because I had a successful sitcom!' Yeah, but you rape women, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple notches." Bill has been accused of sexually assaulting at least 13 women, although only one case has ever made it to court. In August 2006, Bill settled a lawsuit with a woman who had accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in his home in Philadelphia. However, as Hannibal joked in his set, people don't seem to remember these accusations when talking about Bill because of his squeaky-clean onscreen image.

Get ready for a lot more apes.
In a revealing interview with Collider, actor Andy Serkis reveals that the beginning to this summer's "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" (the sequel to 2011's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes") is all apes, all the time -- and that we should brace ourselves for a third movie.
"The idea would be that this will segue into a third movie, which will lead us back to the origins, which leads us back to the very, very first movie," he says, referencing the 1968 classic.
"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is very different from its predecessor, which began with a bucolic family setting. This film will focus more on the tribe that Caesar (Serkis) leads.
"We start 10 years later. We start with all intents and purposes we think most of humanity's been wiped out," he notes. "The first 20 minutes of the movie,...

Released on Tuesday (May 22), Born and Raised finds the 34-year-old reflecting on adulthood and putting his "Shadow Days" behind him ("It's nice to make some love that I can finally feel," he sings on the track). While Mayer hasn't completely let go of his lady-killer image, as when he's yearning over another man's girl on "Something Like Olivia," he spends more time expressing regret over unfulfilled dreams and what it means to be an adult.

And if his booty-shaking performance of "Boyfriend" was meant to be a sneak peek at what's in store on tour, it looks like Bieber will focus on his growing skills as a dancer and performer.

Sunday night's (May 20) Billboard Music Awards were a bittersweet affair, balancing the promise of decades of entertainment from a new generation of record-smashing young artists like Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift with fond memories of a number of recently departed musical icons.
In a three-hour show heavy on performances, chart staples Lmfao helped kicked the show off with a typically hyped performance of their inescapable party anthems that featured a cabbage-patching teddy bear and zebra and more animal prints than a Flintstones family reunion.
Justin Bieber was the night's first winner, taking the Top Social Artist award for his huge online presence. The singer swaggered up to the stage and, in an uncharacteristically emotional moment, said, "I...

"I think our goal was to make something that me and my friends could listen to in the car," Posner explained. "I think we've all known Justin since he was 13, and that's not the kid I was in the studio with anymore. He's an 18-year-old. He skateboards with Lil Wayne and hangs out with Lil Twist. Those are his homies. And he listens to hip-hop and he's a really cool kid. He's not like a corny guy.

The guys will be joined by Amy Adams in the film, which revolves around an aging baseball scout (played by Eastwood) who goes on a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter (Adams) to check out a potential recruit.
Timberlake is set to play Eastwood's friend Johnny Flanagan, a former baseball player himself who is now a Yankees talent scout. Flanagan may also turn out to be Adams' potential love interest.
Eastwood will not be directing this project.
