The Resident looks back at a date night for Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) and his late wife, nurse practitioner Nic Nevin (Emily VanCamp), in the Season 5 finale, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of that happy time (before her tragic death) as well as how he’s doing in the present. That transitions, however, into the present-day, as Conrad remembers that time, and when he sees Winston (Stephen Wallem) talking to Nurse Hundley (Denitra Isler) about a patient. He asks him to talk and explains as they walk, “I have a personal question for you, if you don’t mind me asking…...

The romantic comedy Marry Me, starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, has been pushed off the 2021 release calendar.
The film, originally slated for a release on May 14 this year, has now been scheduled for February 11, 2022, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The decision comes due to the uncertainty in the film exhibition business, with theatres still struggling to tide over the Covid impact.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Bobby Crosby. The story centres on Lopez's character, and film is said to have numerous originals by J.Lo as a singer.

"Nurse Jackie" finished off a wildly uneven Season 5 with an inevitable ending: Jackie fell off the wagon and started using again, at the exact time her friends and family were celebrating her year of sobriety.
We knew this was coming ever since last season, when Jackie (Edie Falco) bolted out of rehab before finishing the program. There's also the fact that this show is designed to track the trials and tribulations of an addict -- something that's a lot harder to do with a sober lead. What's disappointing is that Season 5 never did much to raise the stakes for that moment.
Maybe Jackie's perfunctory relapse will help straighten out the show, which struggled to find its way after the unprecedented highs of Season 4. A big shift behind-the-scenes -- creators and former showrunners Liz Brixius and Linda Wallem departed their roles and "Dexter" producer Clyde Phillips stepped in -- led to...

Actor/comedian Adam Ferrara used to fight fires with Denis Leary on Rescue Me. He now drives way too fast on Top Gear. This season he is trading witty banter and love scenes with Edie Falco. As New York City Police Sergeant Frank Verelli, his scenes with Falco are as funny and even hotter than those with the crew of the fictional “62 Truck.”
Nurse Jackie, the superb Showtime comedy drama about hospitals, addiction, friendship, and family, with the former Carmella Soprano, the brilliant Edie Falco, leading a magnificent cast and guest stars including Merritt Wever, Paul Schulze, Dominic Fumusa, Anna Deavere Smith and Peter Facinelli, Bobby Cannavale, Morris Chestnut, Stephen Wallem, Betty Gilpin, and Ferrara.

Showtime’s resident Rn played by Edie Falco won’t be seeking unemployment benefits anytime soon. This just in, Nurse Jackie has been renewed for a season 6. The cast of the critically acclaimed series can break out the bubbly to celebrate.
If you are counting down, we are about nine days away from Nurse Jackie‘s season 5 finale, which happens on June 16th and has the title “Soul”. Doesn’t that sound alluring? Soak it up, because season 6 won’t launch until 2014.
Did you know the Showtime series was a co-production between the network and Lionsgate? It is. We like out Showtime characters nice and flawed and Edie Falco’s Emmy-winning character Jackie Peyton is definitely that. Clyde Phillips took over as showrunner following Season 4, and he will stick around for season 6, as will his fellow executive producers Caryn Mandabach, Richie Jackson and Tom Straw.

Ten days before Nurse Jackie‘s fifth-season finale, Showtime has renewed the dark comedy for a sixth season to premiere in 2014. A co-production of Showtime and Lionsgate, Nurse Jackie stars Edie Falco in her Emmy-winning role as Jackie Peyton, a strong-willed and brilliant — but very flawed — emergency room nurse. Clyde Phillips, who took over as showrunner after Season 4, will be back, joined by fellow exec producers Caryn Mandabach, Richie Jackson and Tom Straw. Production for the sixth season will begin this fall in New York. “Nurse Jackie is an essential part of the Showtime brand, and we are thrilled with the series’ growth in its fifth season,” said Showtime Entertainment President David Nevins. “Under the new leadership of Clyde Phillips, and with an amazing cast led by Edie Falco, this show is as sharp and compelling and entertaining as ever. I’m excited to get to see the next chapter in Jackie’s life.

It’s that time of year when some shows are wrapping up their seasons, while others are wrapping up forever.

Bones With Monday’s season finale, Executive Producer Stephen Nathan already told TV Fanatic that Pelant will be targeting Booth. But how far will Brennan go to protect him and the people she loves?
“As you see in this coming episode, Brennan is willing to go farther than she's ever gone to protect somebody that she loves," Deschanel said on a press call this week. "And now, you'll see that she'll do the same for other people that she loves to protect them, to protect her life with them.

Kirk Cameron says that speaking the "truth" about gays is "love speech." Some of his past truths have included calling homosexuality “destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization" and calliing gays "unnatural." Now he says “The truth is always love speech, it’s not hate speech. The truth, communicated with compassion, with the desire to see people in a right relationship with God, helped, and healed, and whole, is the most genuine form of love speech you can give to anyone.” Hey Kirk – kids are dying from love over here.
