Duck Dynasty became a global phenomenon when the reality series premiered in 2012. The Robertson family was catapulted to stardom as millions of viewers followed the famous duck hunters and their personal lives in the heart of Louisiana. The A&e series ran for 11 seasons until 2017. The Duck Dynasty fandom remains strong to this day, and many have wondered about a possible revival. Willie Robertson opened up about why a Duck Dynasty revival is not in the cards. “We are looking into some different TV ideas,” Robertson told TV Insider while promoting The Blind. “But to recapture what we did before is really not gonna happen. Sadly, everyone’s gotten older, and we’re all in different places now. Our cast has expanded drastically. I have seven grandkids now, so we’ve got some ideas.” Even though a Duck Dynasty revival is off the table, the Robertsons aren’t retreating from the spotlight.

Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson shows a new side of dad Phil Robertson in The Blind, streaming exclusively on Great American Pure Flix. For Willie, telling his father’s incredible life story and the love he shares with his longtime wife Kay Robertson was “important” for Duck Dynasty fans to see onscreen. “[Duck Dynasty] is really the result of something,” Willie tells TV Insider. “It’s a result of their marriage, staying together, and our family staying together. We really felt like it’s an unbelievable story. It’s a story of redemption and faith. And now after 50 years, you’ve seen what has come out of that, especially with the TV show.” Willie executive produced the film alongside wife Korie Robertson through their production company Tread Lively. They went straight to the source to make sure they portrayed Phil and Kay’s relationship honesty. “It’s hard to go back and relive all that,...

“The Masked Singer” finale concluded on Wednesday night with Queen of Hearts being crowned the Season 6 champ and claiming the Golden Mask over Bull (Todrick Hall). Her showstopping performances of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye and “Firework” by Katy Perry landed her in the winner’s circle where she pulled off her mask to reveal Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Jewel.
“It is just an honor,” Jewel confessed during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “It really is an honor to be in the hall of costumes and with the other amazing winners. Everybody was so talented on this show. It’s the privilege of a lifetime to get to be yourself. This show, oddly, really gets at your essence and I find that really special. “The Masked Singer” finale concluded on Wednesday night with Queen of Hearts winning the Golden Mask and defeating Bull in one of the closest votes in the history of the Fox reality TV competition. Bull gave an inspiring performance of “You Gotta Be” by Des’ree and a stunning, stripped-down rendition of “Invisible” by Hunter Hayes, but it wasn’t enough to dethrone the Queen of Hearts. The hooved singer was then forced to unmask in front of America and reveal himself as singer-songwriter and choreographer, Todrick Hall.
While Todrick fell short on his journey, Nicole Scherzinger won her first Golden Ear trophy when her first impression guess of Todrick was revealed. The Group A finals of “The Masked Singer” concluded on Wednesday night with Bull beating out Skunk for a spot in the December 15 finale. The stinky critter belted out a spine-tingling rendition of “Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)” by the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, before duetting with Grammy winner Michael Bolton on the Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell classic, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Despite bringing down the house, Skunk was forced to unmask in front of America and reveal herself as Grammy winner Faith Evans.
“The Skunk is a lot of work, however, it was so much fun,” Faith confessed during her unmasked interview with host Nick Cannon. “It feels like I never left. It feels like I came back with about 20 extra pounds on my back, but … My son Ryder, he’s 14, he’s on the autism spectrum so we’ve been homeschooling him for three years.

There’s no easy way to say this. “The Masked Singer” judges are earning a failing grade for their Season 6 guesses. Each week, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger put their best foot forward in trying to figure out the true identities of the celebrities hiding behind extravagant costumes. But of the 12 unmaskings so far in the sixth season of Fox’s reality TV show, the panelists have only correctly guessed two as their first impressions: Nicole pegged Natasha Bedingfield as Pepper and Ken named Dwight Howard as Octopus. That’s only a 16.67% accuracy rate, otherwise known as an “F.”

The Group B semi-finals took place on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” with two performers unmasking in front of America. After the Mallard was revealed to be “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, Caterpillar lost his head and was exposed as Emmy-nominated “Queer Eye” co-host Bobby Berk. Despite impressing the panel with his performance of “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks, Bobby wasn’t able to take down Banana Split or Queen of Hearts, who will now compete in the Group B finals.

The Group B semi-finals took place on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” with two performers unmasking before the hour was over. Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched “The Masked Singer” Season 6, Episode 10, “Group B Semi-Finals,” which aired November 17 on Fox.
There has perhaps never been a more on-the-nose costume on “The Masked Singer” than “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson as the Mallard. In a reality TV heavy night for “The Masked Singer,” Robertson was unmasked as Mallard, and “Queer Eye” star/interior designer Bobby Berk was revealed to be the Caterpillar, as seen on the tenth episode of Season 6, “Group B Semi-Finals.”
“I was just hiding in plain sight, I guess,” said Robertson — who pointed out that technically the character he was dressed as is not actually a mallard. “That thing was awesome, and I let them know it’s not a mallard, it’s a wood duck. I knew the difference, but then we thought it would be a funny throwoff clue.”
For Mallard, no one got Robertson right.

Of these contenders for the Golden Mask. the Mallard is the one who looks like he is having the most fun. Duck Dynasty is back for Season 11 and the Robertson family are busy as ever with all their ventures, plus Willie has been getting just a little political. Duck Commander in Chief Willie Robertson spoke at the Republican National Convention in July and has been a Trump supporter from early on. Recently he was interviewed on The Alan Colmes Show and told the radio host that he knew just by the fact of the show’s popularity that there were people in America who would vote for Donald Trump. He also spoke at a fair with President-Elect Trump and chatted to Donald Trump Jr. about...read more...

With a few exceptions (i.e. Scott Baio, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty”), entertainers are nearly unanimous in their opposition to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. The Nation divides over many lines, but a basic split is between Lena Dunham, who made a primetime appearance July 26 at the Democratic National Convention, and Willie Robertson, a star of Duck Dynasty and a celebrity endorser at the Republican convention. No longer an actual aspect of political decision-making, party conventions are wholly symbolic affairs, an elaborate messaging apparatus and targeted media platform. In this instance, Dunham represented a cosmopolitan, millennial, pansexual, women-focused view, abhorrent to a significant part of the country, and Robertson a nativist, older, gun-associated, military-inclined, white-male-focused view, abhorrent to

Paul Simon was introduced by Sen. Al Franken and Sarah Silverman before performing “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” during opening night of the Democratic Convention. Franken and Silverman joked that two people who don’t agree on Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton are like a “bridge over troubled water” before the music icon took the stage of Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. While the Gop was mocked for its lack of star power, which featured Scott Baio and “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson at last week’s convention, the Democratic Party brought out Eva Longoria, Demi Lovato, Silverman and Simon on the first night.

The 2016 election has taken over the news for most of the year, but it has reached a fever pitch for the Gop with the Republican National Convention, which is either a triumph or an unmitigated disaster depending on whom you ask. Naturally, comedians of all stripes have made their way to the convention to cover the Republican mania as they wait for Donald Trump to make his highly anticipated appearance, and that includes “Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update team, which has been doing special reports all this week. One of their segments involved host Michael Che parodying the popular augmented-reality game Pokémon Go by searching for minorities on the Rnc convention floor using “Trumpemon Go.”

The move to rally around Donald Trump took hold in Cleveland, Ohio, on Monday at the start of the Republican National Convention where B-list celebrities from Scott Baio to Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson took the podium ahead of the near-nominee’s wife, Melania Trump. Slovenian-born Melania, who often struggles with public speaking, did a respectable job declaring support for her husband’s ability to lead America, saying: “He will do this better than anyone else,” and assuring the hall, “It won’t even be close.” But after a scuffle on the floor from anti-Trump delegates hoping to divert voting rules — quickly put down.

The wife of presumptive Gop nominee Donald Trump took a rare step into the spotlight at the Republican convention in Cleveland Monday night. The billionaire businessman introduced his wife after making a dramatic entrance across a darkened stage, with Queen's "We Are the Champions" blaring and the crowd cheering wildly. He said only, "We're going to win. We're going to win so big." And with that, he called his wife on stage, gave her a kiss and turned over the lectern to her. "I'm so proud of your choice for president of the United States - my husband, Donald J. Trump!

The 2016 Republican National Convention kicked off tonight in Cleveland, and the theme is “Make America Safe Again.” Here are some quotes from the stage and a couple from the cable news coverage: Willie Robertson, Duck Dynasty: I always said me and Mr. Trump have three things in common: We're both successful businessmen, although I flew here commercial and I’m guessing he didn’t. The "show biz" in Donald Trump's Republican National Convention fell considerably short of A-list on Monday, kicking off the first of four nights with reality TV hunter Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty, in a flag-motif head scarf, declaring Trump "will have your back." He was followed in rapid, prime-time succession by actor Scott Baio of Happy Days and Charles in Charge. Baio, who campaigned for Ronald Reagan in his youth, built on Trump's "Let's make America great" rallying cry with this: "Let's make America America again."
