CBS did not air a new season of The Amazing Race during the spring of 2023, leaving fans wondering when the next race would premiere. Unfortunately, there is no news regarding the premiere date of season 35. All we can do is speculate about the upcoming competition, including whether or not it will feature returning teams.

The most recent season that contained returning teams was The Amazing Race 31, aka The Amazing Race: Reality Showdown. It premiered in 2018 and featured duos from the three CBS reality competition shows — Big Brother, Survivor, and The Amazing Race.

David Harbour is a relative newcomer to the MCU — he debuted his role as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian in 2021’s Black Widow and is set to reprise the character in the upcoming Thunderbolts team-up.
So when it came time to learn everything he could about his future castmates, he turned to We Have a Ghost co-star Anthony Mackie, who had some particular advice about his franchise frenemy, Sebastian Stan, who will also be appearing in Thunderbolts as Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier.
“Sebastian is a very nice person,” Mackie said with a grin as he and co-star Jahi Di’Allo Winston spoke with Et’s Ash Crossan this week.
“Don’t take his quietness and standoffishness as him being mean or rude. You just have to warm him up a little bit,” he teased. “You know, give him some almond butter, talk to him a little bit. He’ll be fine.

The stars of The Originals — some of them, anyway — assembled Thursday in New Orleans for the final day of filming on the CW drama. Young and the Restless fans know that there is a trip coming up in which Billy and Phyllis and Nick and Chelsea are in the Big Easy. They are on a trip to New Orleans for whatever reason, and it’s something that Billy is paying for. What might happen, however, is they will spend too much time focusing on things like drinking heavily, and we all know what that does mean when it comes to people and their drinking habits. It means they are obviously going to spend some serious time focusing on things like their poor lives and celebrating

New Orleans, the Big Easy, is a famous town for many reasons, not the least of which is Mardi Gras. The famed Bourbon Street is a venue that many upon many people flock to each year, and one which Hurricane Katrina nearly decimated in 2005. The ruin that was left behind flood up to 80 percent of New Orleans and left lingering flood waters for weeks on end. 12 years later the city is still standing, still proud, and has been the scene for many movies both before and after the hurricane in an attempt to rebuild and show people

It's been a whirlwind wedding week for Serena Williams and her now-husband Alexis Ohanian. The newlyweds were married in New Orleans on Thursday night in an fairy tale wedding of epic and A-list proportions. But on Saturday, the dynamic duo were spotted jetting out of the Big Easy. Traditionally, couples go on a honeymoon after their wedding. For her ride on the private jet, the lady of the hour wore a grey hooded sweatshirt and grey leggings. She tried to go incognito, wearing a black baseball cap and black sunglasses. Her hubby looked equally comfortable in a black t-shirt and black pants. While in Louisiana, Williams was staying in a $1250-a-night HomeAway home from the 1880s, which she featured...

It's no surprise we're massive fans of the horror movie/experience "summer camp" that is the Overlook Film Festival (and its earlier incarnation as the Stanley Film Fest). Last May the inaugural edition took place at the uber-creepy Timberline Lodge outside Portland, Oregon. This was a truly unforgettable experience for all but also included some challenges considering the Timberline is considerably smaller than the Stanley and doesn't have any nearby movie theaters. Surprise! This morning brings the news that for the 2018 edition of the festival, Overlook will be switching it up and heading to the Big Easy. Not only is New Orleans one of the coolest cities to visit, it's also one of the creepiest. And with the new fest HQ of the Bourbon Orleans...

It's finally here! The Labour Day weekend isn't really the end of summer, but it certainly feels that way. Maybe it's the residual instinct ingrained in us after years of elementary and high school, when summertime meant freedom from school for a full two months and September meant the end of all that and the return to teachers, books, and (ugh) homework.
No matter how you feel about the holiday, there's still lots of ways to squeeze the most fun possible out of your extra day off! And what better way to while away an afternoon than with a movie at a Cineplex theatre. Without further ado, here's our recommendations for what to see in theatres this long weekend!

Call me surprised with a cherry on top. Girls Trip is not what it looks like on the surface – a black-demo take on Rough Night, Scarlett Johansson's recent white–ish-girls-gone-wild romp in Miami which hit a wall of critical apathy and audience indifference. Not this time. In all the ways ScarJo & co.'s film went wrong (the dead male stripper – ugh!), Malcolm D. Lee's comedy goes hilariously right. Well, at least no one died this week. In the present, anyway.
After the Saint of Killers-inspired bloodbaths of the opening of Season 2, “Preacher” set its gaze on New Orleans, the ultimate destination teased at the outset. The camaraderie that made those first few installments so freeing and energizing fell by the wayside in “Damsels,” but what took its place was a mystery that dug deeper into the philosophical and delivered another prime action set-piece as a chaser.
Before we resumed with Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy in the Big Easy, it was high time the show finally addressed the Hellephant in the room and gave us some Eugene-related answers. Seeing the unfortunate teenager lively and spry and free of any physical or emotional scars was even more jarring than the Jesse and Tulip flashback at the close of Season 1.

The Girls Trip star stunned in gold on the Bet Awards red carpet Sunday evening and let Et's Kevin Frazier in on her secrets to aging ever so gracefully.
"It's happiness," she gushed. "As I get older, I get more and more happy. I just get more understanding about myself and about life, and I get more and more comfortable in my skin. Man, if I felt this way, the way I feel now, in my 20s? Man, I woulda been dangerous!"

Pinkett Smith recently made headlines for reportedly saying that her children had all moved out of the home she shares with husband Will Smith. Setting the record straight on Sunday, the actress told Et that was only partially true.

Chaka Khan has had an incredible career spanning over several decades, but the 10-time Grammy winner admits she doesn’t remember the first time she ever stepped on stage.
“Somebody might remember, but I don’t!” Khan, 64, tells People in this week’s issue.
Born Yvette Marie Stevens, the singer changed her name when she joined the Black Panther Party as a teen. The Chicago native then went on to sing with the band Rufus before embarking on a solo career and becoming known as “the Queen of Funk.”
Next up, Khan is set to perform at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

Normani Kordei Delivers Love Letter to Hometown of New Orleans in Emotional 'DWTS' Semi-Finals Dance
Normani Kordei paid tribute to her hometown of New Orleans with a flawless jazz routine on Monday's Dancing With the Stars semi-finals, but it was her grandmother, Barbara, that really stole the show.
The Fifth Harmony singer opened up about some of the more emotionally challenging aspects of her childhood, including her mom's diagnosis with breast cancer when Kordei was only five years old, and living through Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which damaged her home and displaced her from everything she'd grown up with.
Normani, her parents and her grandmother moved to Houston in the wake of the disaster, and she continued to pursue her passion for singing, supported by her family -- especially her grandma -- every step of the way.

After the prophecy foretold in season 3 of The Originals came to pass, the Original family's future was decidedly grim. But powerful supernaturals can't be kept down for long, and the Mikaelsons are rallying, just in time to battle the biggest evil they've ever encountered. And while fans are undoubtedly relieved to have Klaus, Elijah and Hayley back in the Big Easy, it's been hard to overlook that the major story arcs have revolved around the men while the female leads have been anchoring subplots. The slow build has bordered on tedious -- along with the continued squabbling between Marcel and Klaus regarding who has the bigger "fangs" -- so it's time for the women to step out of the shadows and steal some of the spotlight.

Luke Cage #1 Gallery 1 of 9

No doubt enjoying all the praise True Believers have been giving his Netflix show, Luke Cage is certainly riding high these days. In fact, his popularity will soon have the chance to grow even further when a new solo series written by David F. Walker (Power Man and Iron Fist, Occupy Avengers) and illustrated by the up and coming Nelson Blake II (Romulus) hits stands the spring.
But, even if you’ve been on board with this guy for some time now, there’s still reason for you to take part in his adventures. You see, Cage is now headed for New Orleans and, if he’s able to pull off the amazing feat of resisting the locale cuisine, he’ll “uncover a mystery stretching back to his very origins.” Sounds interesting, eh?

You'd normally be hard-pressed to find a link between color guards – those tween-to-teen troupes who do military-style dance routines involving waving flags and spinning rifles – hipster rock/Edm bands and micro-indie regional documentarians; a microscope used to be required to view the Venn diagram overlap. Enter David Byrne, an artist who's never found a bunch of disparate elements he couldn't turn into a creative goulash, and who became a fan of the Middle-America past time after a group asked to use his music for a routine. Even after Season 1, it was clear “The Detour” was a deceptive title. Though Nate Parker’s seemingly impulsive but truly diabolical decision to drive (rather than fly) the family from Syracuse, New York to Florida pushed the exceedingly wild story forward, the altered route wasn’t really the focus of a family comedy unraveling more mysteries than most soap operas. Week after week as the Parkers made their lengthy journey south, and new secrets were unveiled about Nate (Jason Jones), Robin (Natalie Zea), and their two kids, Delilah (Ashley Gerasimovich) and Jared (Liam Carroll).
But the titular detour wasn’t the road trip itself, nor was it what was uncovered because of it. “The Detour’s” larger purpose was to take us on a trip out of our comfort zone. The TBS original is built to deconstruct our understanding of family comedies and family dynamics in general. Doing so while...

Last time on NCIS, we saw Abby run into trouble when she became part of a Department of Homeland Security think tank. Suffice to say that Abby's fake bomb was real, a theoretical terror handbook went missing and it launched a crossover episode with NCIS: New Orleans when Torres and McGee hit the Big Easy.
This episode of NCIS, titled "A Many Splendored Thing," shows us Bishop in revenge mode as the team gets some new intelligence in the Kai Chen case. Chen is a rich business man who commits terror acts to affect the stock market. Bishop is determined to get revenge for the death of her boyfriend, Qasim. I am still sad that Qasim was killed off; I really liked them as a couple.
