Outplay Films’ “Turtles,” directed by David Lambert, has landed U.S. distribution with Dark Star Pictures. The film, which stars Dave Johns, Olivier Gourmet and Brigitte Poupart, follows a long-married couple who are headed for divorce.
The official synopsis reads: “Since Thom and Henri met 35 years ago, their love for each other has never faltered. The seemingly perfect life they had built in Brussels started to go awry when Henri retired from being a police officer. Now, Henri’s days seem to stretch endlessly, each one as bland as the next while his feelings for Thom are fading fast. They drift away from each other a little more each day, to the point that their house has become a battleground. Thom’s love for Henri remains strong though and he is not ready to give up. He will do anything to save his relationship and rekindle their love, even if...

Plot: An alcoholic and drug addict, Richard is taken into the wilderness to detox – but once they’re out in the woods, he and his group of friends are attacked by a madman.
Review: Hutch Dano is the grandson of legendary character actor Royal Dano and the son of actor Rick Dano, so it’s no surprise that he got into acting himself. He has racked up over twenty screen credits in the last thirteen years, including playing Zeke on 77 episodes of the Disney series Zeke and Luther – and now that he has made his feature directing debut, he has brought several of his former co-stars onto the project with him. Nine years ago, Cortney Palm and Hutch Dano starred in Zombeavers, a horror comedy that got a good amount of attention because – as the title gives away – it happened to be about zombie beavers. The trailer for the film can be seen in the embed above.

When most people think of foster care, they usually think about what they've seen on TV, which isn't a lot.
It's just one of those things writers don't tend to dig deep into, except for a few choice storylines that usually end up on the cutting floor.
If you're a fan of family dramas, though, there's a good chance you know about The Fosters.
The Fosters was a Freeform series that featured a family thrown into disarray when a teenage girl (Maia Mitchell) and her younger brother (Hayden Byerly) end up placed in their care.
There's also a good chance you remember its spinoff, Good Trouble, which is currently in its fifth season and features several characters from the latter living their college lives in Los Angeles.
While both shows showed you a side of the system not typically shown on broadcast, another, just three years before, was also doing that.

Freeform on Monday announced its The Fosters spinoff will return for more trouble in its highly anticipated third season on Wednesday, February 17th at 10/9c on Freeform.

Davia on her own is an acquired taste, but Davia's birthday parties are pretty damn epic!
The events of her re-birthday bash on Good Trouble Season 1 Episode 10, were an absolute blast, and it was another of those times when you wished you could hang out with The Coterie gang.
Yes, they have a crazy amount of drama, but there is also a lot of love and fun.
The hour also saw a guest appearance by another Foster alum, David Lambert. Oh, Brandon, it was so good to see you; beard and all.
If we're ranking the appearances of Foster-Adams family members, Stef and Lena remain at the top.
For one, they're Stef and Lena, but they were incorporated the best throughout the entire hour managing to share an equal amount of moments and screentime with both girls and connect with a couple of Coterie members too.

Good Trouble‘s Callie is all work and no play in next Tuesday’s episode (Freeform, 8/7c), but luckily, her Fosters brother Jude pops in for a visit and fixes all that in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek.
Much to Mariana’s delight, Jude gets Callie out of her “work cave” to join a party at The Coterie. Callie even gets all dolled up, leading Mariana to wonder if her sister is “dressing up for a certain someone.” That piques Jude’s interest, but Callie insists there’s no guy in her life, then asks her little bro if he’s seeing anyone.

Brandon (David Lambert) will be reuniting with Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) in an episode of upcoming The Fosters spinoff Good Trouble.
Lambert will reprise his role as Brandon as a guest star on the Freeform series. As per usual, no details about the storyline, or on which episode Lambert will appear were revealed.
Lambert is the fourth Fosters cast member confirmed to guest star on Good Trouble, following Terri Polo (Stef), Sherri Saum (Lena) and Hayden Byerly (Jude) which had been designed to maintain ties with the mothership show. “We plan to have all characters from the original series make guest appearances,” Freeform Evp Karey Burke told Deadline at the time of the spinoff’s announcement in January.

The Fosters alum Hayden Byerly will reprise his role as Jude in an episode of Freeform’s upcoming spinoff Good Trouble.
No details about the storyline, or on which episode Byerly will appear were revealed. Good Trouble‘s producers had hinted earlier that we likely would see Jude and also Brandon from the original series the most in the spinoff as they also will live in Los Angeles. Byerly played Jude in all five seasons of the GLAAD award-winning drama series.
Freeform released a pic of Byerly on set (see above) with cast mates Maia Mitchell (Callie), Cierra Ramirez (Mariana) and Tommy Martinez (Gael). The series is set to premiere in 2019.

The time has come to say goodbye to what can arguably be TV’s most progressive family in history — or as some of the kids may say these days: TV’s most “woke” family. Created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige, The Fosters ended its five-season run tonight after providing television landscape with a series that gave a new meaning of a modern family. The Fosters tackled normal family drama such as sibling dynamics, teen angst, parent-child conflict, and domestic strife, but the Freeform series bent the traditional narrative to the times with a same-sex couple of Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) raising a blended family that included Brandon (David Lambert), Stef’s biological son, twins Jesus (Noah Centineo) & Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Jude (Hayden Byerly).
Tonight’s episode titled “Where the Heart Is” was the bookend of a three-part finale that began on Monday.

Freeform is sending “The Fosters” off in style — the series is wrapping its run with a three-night “special event,” centered on Brandon’s (David Lambert) destination wedding. But those three hours, which start airing on June 4, will also serve to launch the upcoming spinoff.
“These three had to kind of have a standalone feel to them,” executive producer and showrunner Joanna Johnson tells Variety. “That’s why the event of a wedding really helped — to give us a real beginning, middle, and an end — rather than just three meandering or serialized episodes. We felt strongly that these three had to have something that structured them as a piece.”
The season 5 finale, which aired back in March, jumped forward in time to show all of the Adams-Fosters kids graduating from high school. But Johnson says she came up with the idea before she learned that the series wasn’t coming back for a sixth season.

Heavy. Intense. Heartfelt. Those are just some of the adjectives used by the cast of The Fosters to describe Tuesday’s 100th episode, which also serves as the first half of the two-hour Season 5B finale (airing at 8/7c on Freeform).
“It’s not an explosive episode like a lot of [our] finales and premieres,” star Maia Mitchell tells TVLine. Instead, the milestone hour “ups the ante a little bit on the emotional side.”
“What’s cool about the 100th episode is it’s a very heartfelt episode,” co-star David Lambert adds. “It’s not necessarily an ambitious episode. It’s not a big event.

The Fosters‘ Season 5B premiere on Tuesday was not kind to one couple, who found themselves breaking up.
During a mature heart-to-heart, Callie told her boyfriend Aaron that they need to rebuild their relationship as friends, because they both have trust problems that are causing them to be “very nasty” to each other. Although the pair split, “you’re going to see a lot of Aaron in this season,” star Maia Mitchell reassures TVLine.
