If you tuned into last week’s season premiere of Tyler Perry’s Sistas and thought that Andi’s new boyfriend looked even newer than you remembered, we’ve got good news: you’re not going crazy! (Not about this, anyway. We don’t know your life.)
Jordan, originally played by Sean Sagar in Season 6, is now being played by Devin Way — a change made even more jarring by the fact that we rolled right into Season 7 with no break. (We usually have a hiatus during which we can prepare ourselves for such things!)

‘Sistas’ Actress Mignon Wants People to Heal or “You’re Just Going to Keep Living in the Same Cycle”
Tyler Perry’s comedy-drama series Sistas follows the lives of a friendship group, whose storylines are conversation-starters in person and online. The sister circle includes Andrea “Andy” Barnes (Kj Smith), Daniella “Danni” King (Mignon), Karen Mott (Ebony Obsidian) and Sabrina Hollins (Novi Brown), who are dealing with relationship issues, career choices and friendship drama that many can relate to.
This season, Danni is fresh out of a breakup with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Preston (Trinity Whiteside), facing her abuser and trying to confirm if one of her best friends is dead. But despite her trauma, one thing viewers can consistently expect Danni to provide is comedic relief. “People don’t always understand the method to her madness because I mean, just quite frankly, it’s kind of a luxury to be vulnerable,” Mignon says of her character. “It’s 100 percent a defense mechanism” from her deep pain.

Tyler Perry's Sistas' Trinity Whiteside Says Preston Is Ready to Talk, But Is Danni Ready to Listen?
If Danni and Preston’s relationship impasse on Tyler Perry’s Sistas is frustrating you, actor Trinity Whiteside feels your pain.
The actor, who has been inspiring fans to root for the love between Danni and his character Preston ever since Season 2, says Preston is just as much to blame for the couple’s strife on the popular BET drama, which airs Wednesdays at 9/8c. For starters, taking Tonya on a date and parading her around Karen’s salon, not once but twice, certainly didn’t help matters.

A drama-prone Karen told Aaron she’s pregnant on Tyler Perry’s Sistas this week, but it was unclear what she wanted in return.
She said she was telling him so Aaron would stop pursuing her. However, Aaron, who is in love with Karen, only seemed more inspired to pursue the woman of his dreams and swore that he would love the baby, too, even if it’s not his. Of course, Aaron admitted that if the baby is his, he will love the newborn even more, but none of this seemed to make Karen happy.

Tyler Perry's Sistas Stars Kj Smith and Chido Nwokocha Preview Gary's Wild Attempts to Win Back Andi
Usually when a couple breaks up on a television show, one or both of the brokenhearted lovebirds flies far away, unless there is a child involved or some sort of workplace stronghold.
As fans of Tyler Perry’s Sistas can attest, the wildly popular BET nighttime soap isn’t like other TV offerings, and that’s why Gary won’t leave Andi alone, even though they’re not engaged anymore. After shaming her for taking part in a threesome with Robin and moving out of her apartment, Gary keeps popping up.
