Charles Doty, a Tennessee man, has pleaded guilty to pointing an Ak-47 rifle at two pizza shop employees because his pepperoni pizza was “taking too long to cook.”
According to reports, Doty, 64, became agitated after being told that his pizza would take ten minutes. He then demanded an order of free “Crazy Bread” before exiting the restaurant.
Doty later returned to the Little Caesars restaurant with an Ak-47 and pointed it at the female worker, demanding his order. To get him out of the store, a female customer who had just gotten her pepperoni pie gave it to Doty, which resulted in him leaving the restaurant.
The Knoxville Police Department later arrested Doty.
Little Caesars employees Kimerleigh Burrell and Noah Beeler were working when the incident took place. It was their first day on the job.
“I never expected somebody to come in over a $6 pizza that you paid for.
