Steve Menges

A marketing, content development, and products professional, Steve is also known for his work on the pioneering film, Cayman Went (2009). Mr. Menges' work as producer, writer, editor and content creator also includes co-creating and producing the documentary film, "Big Iron: The Mainframe Story." Steve has worked on video shorts and educational and music videos, including "Twist it" by Gangstagrass (2016).
Born in Lancaster, PA, Steve grew up in Dallas, PA and went to college (University of Pittsburgh) and graduate school (Katz Graduate School of Business) in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Steve's first film work was during a summer job as a kite flying technical adviser and extra (uncredited) for the Sissy Spacek/Kevin Kline film, Violets are Blue (1986).
A partner at the B2B³ agency, Mr. Menges and colleague David Liff co-developed the Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing Maturity Model (based on Mr. Menges' concept) and they help organizations go-to-market utilizing the model and the B2B and business-to-institution (B2I) buyer's journey. Steve drives the B2B³ agency's non-profit educational marketing institute and is an adjunct graduate professor at NYU's MS in Management & Systems (STEM) and MS in Integrated Marketing programs. Mr. Menges presents at technology industry events, writes for industry magazines, and is on the Advisory Board for the USF Muma College of Business Digital Marketing program; he also advises pre-exit start-ups, private equity firms and Capstone/Thesis students. He and his wife Jennifer live in New York City.
