Marshall Sherman(I)
- Actor
- Casting Department
- Additional Crew
Marshall Sherman has been a talker and and actor all his life. From the
day the pediatrician asked his mom if he was "saying any words yet",
and the 18-month-old Marshall responded, "Sure! What do you want me to
say?" it was clear; Marshall loved to perform. He was in his first
major production at the age of 3, "One Voice" and has been acting ever
since. His last stage performance (to date) was Gilbert Blythe in Anne
of Green Gables.
During high school, he competed in forensics (speech and debate) and won over 70 awards including a national championship in the humorous interpretation category. He finished his high school education early and spent the next two years in an internship with Communicators for Christ and the Institute for Cultural Communicators as a communications coach, and intern. During that stint he traveled well over 25,000 miles around the country, has been to 47 of the United States, and taught classes on everything from expressions, and styles of acting, to critical thinking and logical fallacies and argumentation.
Upon returning from his second tour, Marshall began to pursue acting for screen. He attended AMTC and was a finalist for overall male fashion actor. Having already been coaching kids (and adults too) in acting, expression, and speaking for several years at this point, Marshall began coaching with AMTC; working with the AMTC Academy.
Never much of a guy for traditional styles of education (or traditional styles of anything, for that matter) Marshall was home schooled for most of his education and decided to pursue his degree in Human Resources and Organizational Management through accelerated distance learning courses, and other alternative methods.
He's just getting started, but he's already booked roles as on-set acting coach for Huemoore Productions and Gundersen Entertainment's "_Ace Wonder: Message from a Dead Man (2011)_", and extra roles on 20th Century Fox's "_Lone Star (2010)_", and NBC's "_Chase (2010)_".
