Good morning!
It's the most wonderful time of the year, when your favorite Lgbt authors talk about the best gay book they read in 2012. Alison Bechdel's Are You My Mother? was a popular one, because it's really freaking good.
Mary Lynn Rajskub went on the podcast Our Fifteen Minutes to discuss her recent coming out, although she'd probably hate if you called it that.
Naya Rivera looked gorgeous on the red carpet of the Trevor Live last night. We have a video interview coming later today. For now, settle for this photo.
Here are some of the other women who attended the event.
Jane Lynch and Lara Embry
Brittany Snow
Anna Kendrick
Ashley Fink
Samantha Ronson
Aubrey Plaza, Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler
Jenna Ushkowitz
Beth Behrs
Kristin Chenoweth

America's Next Top Model eliminee Jessica Serfaty has revealed that she is planning to live with fellow contestant Brenda Arens in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old, who was eliminated from the CW show this week, told Digital Spy that she has already relocated to the West Coast with her husband and son, and that Arens and her daughter are planning on joining them soon. "We're going to move our little families in together in La!" she said. "My husband and son moved out here earlier than she did but she's still going to come out and stay with us for a little while and (more)...

It’s time to capitulate: Angelea has a personality that makes the saints cry, and she has the shoulders of a 400-year-old banshee who lives in a cairn, and she has a weave that belongs in the backup wig closet at the House of Xtravaganza, but she can model. At the opening of this episode of Cycle 14 of "America's Next Top Model," Angelea makes no bones about how happy she is that she got the No. 1 picture last week and saw the elimination of archenemy Brenda. Raina is bummed at Brenda’s departure; the two were buddies. Alexandra is sad too,...

With her delicate bone structure, striking red hair and confidence, Brenda Arens, 23, had all the assets to break out from the crowd on America's Next Top Model this season.
Latest Episode Recap: "Shut Up, Shut Up, That's How Girls Get Beat Up!"
But, as on any reality show worth its salt, stress met her around every corner. A botched makeover, harsh criticisms from the judges, a fellow model who loved to just "poke and poke and poke" and Tyra's crazy modeling jobs that required, among other things, nudity and blindness, eventually led Brenda to her personal "breaking point"--at about the same time that Tyra and her judges decided to break it off with Brenda, too.

America's Next Top Model eliminee Brenda Arens has said that she was "impressed" by Tyra Banks during her time on the show. The 24-year-old model from Houston, TX, was eliminated from the CW competition this week after falling into the bottom two with Alasia. Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "[Tyra] has a genuine personality about her. She is definitely a businesswoman, but I do see a softer side to her and she seems to genuinely (more)...

If there's ever been a more appropriate metaphor for Antm than this week's photoshoot, I don't know what it is: All aboard the S train, which just shuttles back and forth, back and forth, never really making much of a journey, and always smelling like career failure and boiling garbage. (Trust me.) So it is with Top Model, loathe to break any new ground or move in compelling, fresh directions; instead it just sways to and fro, from Grand Central to Times Square, from ratty weaves to arguments about respect, from annoying "you don't know me" screaming matches to over-enthusiasm for Seventeen magazine.

It's another girl down on America's Next Top Model, as Brenda Arens was booted out of the show. Throughout Cycle 14, she struggled with her photo shoots and her emotions, which finally got the best of her tonight.
Check Out Our Recap of Episode 6 "New York Women"
Tyra Banks and the rest of the judges felt that the Houston, Texas native performed poorly on the recent challenge, where the girls had to pose for their Covergirl ad. Brenda lacked the fresh and youthful face that they were looking for, leading to her elimination.

Could last night's Top Model have been any duller? Somewhere between Brenda's blathering on about her haircut (still?!) and Anslee's clench-jawed perpetual sourness, I slipped into coma. This is just my subconscious typing this now -- obviously no person possessing both free will and the physical ability to turn something off would continue to slog through this season... right? Why is Tyra doing this to us? How can Antm possibly continue for more cycles, when this one is already running on fumes? This week, the modeltestants had to get up on stage, but it wasn't the acting challenge...

(S14E04) This week on 'America's Next Top Model,' Tyra banks decided to continue trying to be current by realizing that people like vampires. At least it was a step more current than her MySpace parody in the first episode. It makes me wonder if people will find bloody vampires as controversial as the dead model photoshoot in Cycle Eight, or is there a double standard with vampires?
Speaking of vampires, Tyra continues to suck the souls of her contestants. This week, Brenda was forced to change her hair yet again. Instead of soccer mom, Brenda's sides were buzzed to give her more of a faux-hawk look.

Oh, here it comes. We’re just far enough into Cycle 14 that the crying begins in earnest. Right off the bat, we get to hear from a model mommy who had to leave her baby for this, like, amazing opportunity. Now taking bets on how long it takes for Anslee to cry. This Wednesday on America's Next Top Model, Tyra and her judges will turn the models into undead bloodsuckers for a vampire-inspired photo shoot.
And judging from the cattiness going on in the Top Model house, turning these pretty ladies into cold, soulless killers ... isn't much of a stretch.
Watch the trailer for America's Next Top Model cycle 14 episode 4, "America's Next Top Vampire," and two sneak peeks at the drama coming up on Wednesday. Plus: see Brenda's brand-new makeover.

"America's Next Top Model" will bite into the vampire mania in next Wednesday's (March 31) episode.
Prepare yourself for lots of blood, bite marks and sucking in one gore-filled hour.
Plus, Brenda gets a super short punk rock-esque haircut while the other girls watch in delight. Hey, it's a cutthroat world, Brenda, but be careful -- the neck is a hot topic next week.

If the next cycle of this show doesn't have some kind of compelling gimmick (actual human feelings) or twist (Born Agains vs. Atheists), I think we might have to part ways. A dance-inspired challenge? Excuse me while I try to wrest myself from this coma. Nope, I couldn't do it, coma: 1, Tyra: 0. A blah challenge, warmed-over fights, dated references, and an elimination that arrived by telegraph months ago -- Top Model, why have you forsaken me? Brenda complained that she was having an "identity crisis" thanks to the haircut, and Ren said she was "93 percent sure" she was going to leave the competition.

The girls leave their New York home to find a 'Fab Bus' parked outside with season three star Tocarro Jones waiting inside. She tells them they will be split into two teams and tested on their fashion knowledge. Raina is named her assistant because she won the last panel. The Blue Team is Krista, Simone, Angelea, Jessica and Alexandra. The Red Team is Anslee, Tatiana, Ren, Brenda and Alasia. The first team to correctly answer five questions will win. It ends up neck-in-neck at 4-4 between the two teams as Brenda and Simone step up. Their question is who hosts America's Next Top Model in Germany. The answer is Heidi Klum and Simone gets it, securing the win. The blue team's prize - including Raina - is to meet with the reps from Bluefly.com for a go-see, with Simone being named the winning girl. The losing team has to help Bluefly's copywriters weigh,...

Nudity, screaming, wipeouts, and the dawn of the André era -- but remind me again why this week's Top Model needed to be a grueling 90 minutes? It would have been (barely) permissible were it one giganto episode, but no, it was pretty plainly the ass-half of last week's also needlessly long episode, plus a full regular episode. I can't tell what's worse: that kind of cruddy last-minute patchworking, or Tyra's wrap jumpsuit with pockets. Just kidding..., of course I can tell. It was the jumpsuit. Let's do this, kids. When we left off last week, the modeltestants had just been...
