There is no doubt that Windham Rotunda left an impactful legacy in WWE. Using the ring name Bray Wyatt, Rotunda created many memorable moments in the promotion. Sadly the world lost Windham last year, but his memory and his visions of creativity can be still felt today.
One of Windham’s creations was the character Uncle Howdy. Windham created the character for his younger brother Taylor Michael Rotunda who goes by the ring name Bo Dallas. There have been various Uncle Howdy teases popping up on both television and social media,
During the ending credits of the Bray Wyatt documentary that was released on Peacock a few weeks back, there was a hint of an Uncle Howdy return. A former member of the Wyatt family Erick Rowan had to cancel previously planned shows he was set to appear at.

A truly one of a kind talent inside – and outside – the squared circle, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt has unexpectedly passed away at the age of 36, we’ve learned tonight.

Match #1: Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa def. The Street Profits The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After the turbulent events of Friday’s SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso stood with Solo Sikoa to claim The Bloodline is as strong as ever without Jey Uso anywhere in sight. They were soon interrupted by The Street Profits, and it wasn’t long before the two tandems engaged in a pre-match brawl. In the subsequent matchup, The Street Profits used tag team precision against Jimmy. They didn’t realize, however, that Solo was actually the legal Superstar. After launching Ford off the top rope to the ringside floor, Sikoa blasted Dawkins with the Samoan Spike for the three-count.

It’s Jan. 4, just one day before Vince McMahon would come crashing back into the WWE, but if new creative head Paul “Triple H” Levesque knew something was afoot, he hid it well. “F–k if I know,” Levesque told Variety, when asked how McMahon was biding his time since leaving the WWE back in July. “I didn’t know what he was up to every day when he was here! I’ll be honest, I don’t know what he’s doing. I think he’s keeping himself busy.”
A day later, the world would know exactly what McMahon was up to. On Jan. 5, it was reported that McMahon was using his power as WWE’s majority shareholder to return as the executive chairman of the board of directors to help negotiate new media rights deals and to explore a sale of the company.

Match #1: Drew McIntyre & Sheamus def. The Viking Raiders The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
SmackDown was truly Fight Night when it kicked off with Drew McIntyre & Sheamus conquering The Viking Raiders with an earth-shattering Claymore Kick/Brogue Kick combination on their two opponents to advance to the second round of the SmackDown Tag Team Title Contenders Tournament.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: LA Knight def. Brent Jones The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Match #1: Intercontinental Championship Match – Gunther def. Braun Strowman The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Ring General and The Monster of All Monsters absolutely pummeled each other. Fitting that this title match was occurring in Title Town as the two showed the grit necessary to come out as champion. Wearing special boots designed with the help of the Green Bay Packers, Strowman put said boots to Gunther, using them to derail the Intercontinental Champion and send him over the announce table. Even though they were sent to the backstage area by Gunther before the match, the rest of Imperium emerged, forcing Strowman to fend them off before delivering a menacing powerslam to Gunther that could only garner a two-count. After the newly aligned team of Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox scored a victory over SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler last week, they earned a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match against Damage Ctrl. Nox nearly earned the win with the Shiniest Wizard on Kai, but Sky broke up the pinfall. Barry Windham, WWE Hall Of Famer and former member of The Four Horsemen wrestling team alongside Ric Flair, suffered a heart attack over the weekend and is currently in the ICU. According to Windham’s niece, Mika Rotunda, the sister of pro wrestlers Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, the 62-year-old went into cardiac arrest at the airport on Friday evening. She shared an update on her uncle’s condition on a GoFundMe page dedicated to helping the wrestler with his medical bills. According to Rotunda, Windham does not have health insurance. Rotunda writes, “After those countless years of wrestling matches, traveling and entertaining worldwide, he experienced a number of taxing injuries and ended up undergoing multiple surgeries. That led to other health complications. Barry hung his boots for the last time in the early 2000s. Since then he has been limited with work due to his medical history as well as left without health insurance.

Match #1: Ridge Holland & Butch def. Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following a brutal Bloodline attack that left Sheamus out of action last week, The Brawling Brutes were out for payback against Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa. When Butch climbed to the top rope, Jey failed to understand that Zayn was playing possum to his ascending opponent. Thinking he was helping, Jey opted to pull The Honorary Uce out of the ring. A frustrated Zayn wasted time arguing with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion, and when Ridge Holland took out Jey and Solo Sikoa, Sami finally reengaged Butch and immediately fell victim to the small package for the loss.

One week after mixing it up in a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way Match, Sheamus took on Solo Sikoa one-on-one for the first-time-ever. Throughout the extremely hard-hitting affair, Solo targeted the injured left shoulder of The Celtic Warrior. Nevertheless, the former WWE Champion battled back. WWE’s “Friday Night Smackdown” continues to smash the coveted 18-49 demographic during primetime, securing a 0.5 last week. About 2.3 million people tuned in for the event on Fox, which saw the highly anticipated return of Bray Wyatt.
The event appears to still be riding a viewership high after managing its largest audience in more than two years on Sept. 23. The record high viewership was propelled by an intricate social campaign that WWE had been running, leading to Oct. 10’s “Extreme Rules,” when the organization confirmed that Wyatt would be returning after a 14-month absence.
Rather than simply highlight the wrestler’s return, the organization began teasing the return of a so-called “white rabbit” by showing images of a white rabbit on “Smackdown,” as well as “Monday Night Raw,” and integrating Qr codes within broadcasts that led viewers to strange clues.
The clues led viewers to the Sept. 23 “Smackdown” and, ultimately,...

Match #1: Sami Zayn def. Kofi Kingston The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Much like previous weeks Jey Uso was in Sami Zayn’s corner but after a phone call from Roman Reigns, “Main Event” Jey Uso seemed more willing to offer aid to his honorary Bloodline member. Jey Uso took umbrage with Xavier Woods’ presence by Superkicking him, allowing Zayn to hit the Blue Thunder Bomb in the fracas for a close two count. Kingston had Zayn locked up in a pinning attempt but Jey proved key, pushing Kingston so that Zayn was pinning Kingston instead. This let Zayn pick up the much-needed victory.

If we are to trust the people in charge of WWE.com, it appears that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H will be defending his belt earlier than originally thought.
It has been reported previously that Triple H will be in action at the big WWE house show in Madison Square Garden on March 25th, just over a week before WrestleMania 32. At that event, which is being advertised as “Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night,” Hunter will team with Sheamus to take on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
However, an announcement on WWE.com indicates that Triple H might actually be defending his title on the WWE Network special “March To WrestleMania” on March 12th. That show, which takes place live from Toronto, would be Triple H’s first in-ring action since winning the title last month at the Royal Rumble.
An announcement promoting the show was posted on WWE.

Aj Styles versus Kevin Owens is being advertised for WWE’s March 25 house show at Madison Square Garden.
This will be the first time they’ve ever wrestled in WWE, and is also an indication of them doing the match at WrestleMania 32.
The Texas megashow just comes a week after Msg. Styles fighting Owens for the Intercontinental title had already been rumoured, in a work rate match that could steal the show if given longer than ten minutes. Both men are very good workers, and they have met on the indy scene before. The prospect of this feud lighting up the spring period in WWE is very exciting.
It is also fitting that the Madison Square Garden show will be Daniel Bryan Appreciation Night. Owens and Styles are two wrestlers he would’ve loved to have worked with if he had been able to make it back for WWE.

WrestleMania is a season finale night for WWE, and like all great television shows, the end of a series can often mean big characters departing from the narrative.
In some cases, wrestlers will be departing from the company. Old age catches up with even the fittest athletes, while other talent are just ready for moving on. It is a natural cycle of the business, and is in fact a good thing. When one spot opens up, there is an opportunity for a new star to emerge.
Before getting to the names of those stars who will be leaving the company in the near future, let’s start with an honourable mention – Brock Lesnar. Technically, he won’t be leaving the WWE, but The Beast will almost definitely be disappearing for a while, and that’s going to leave one of the biggest holes on the roster. He’s...

Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar is a surprise addition to the WrestleMania card, with WWE throwing away the substantial build they put into Lesnar versus Bray Wyatt for April 3.
Wyatt had already attacked Lesnar on Raw, in addition to costing him the Royal Rumble. While it wasn’t exactly the most inspiring build, it did have narrative potential and would’ve at least been an entertaining in-ring match for the would-be 100,000 fans at Cowboys Stadium.
But, in what felt like a sudden move, WWE changed it to an Ambrose/Lesnar feud and match instead. Wyatt’s planned run-in to cost Lesnar at Fastlane never happened, and WWE instead focused on heating up exchanges between The Beast and The Lunatic Fringe. H

Here’s why Vince McMahon made the decision to switch from Lesnar/Bray to Lesnar/Ambrose.

WWE has announced that its Road to WrestleMania house show scheduled for March 25 at Madison Square Garden has been designated as “Daniel Bryan Night.” Bryan will be in attendance and is expected to be honored in the ring.
On February 8, Bryan made his first appearance in a WWE ring in many months to announce his retirement from the sport of pro wrestling. His emotional goodbye speech lasted for the final half-hour of Monday Night Raw and drew tears from fans at Seattle’s KeyArena. At “Daniel Bryan Night,” the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will get the opportunity to take a bow before his East Coast fans.
Several of the show’s matches have also been announced. In the main event, number one contender Roman Reigns will take on Sheamus, who will have the Triple H in his corner. Also confirmed are The Big Show versus Bray Wyatt,...

WWE Payback 2016 on May 22 will be in Newark, New Jersey, with the Prudential Center announcing the ticket sale with an image of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
The choice of picture could be a clue that the two men will be wrestling each other for the WWE Championship at the event. Ambrose has been on a slow burn heel turn for a long time, and the expectation was that he’d be feuding with Reigns this spring for the WWE Title. The Payback image is strong evidence that WWE are indeed going down that route.
With a main event push towards Reigns’ title, it could mean Ambrose is due to go over Brock Lesnar at April’s WrestleMania. Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Ambrose Lesnar is the booking for Mania, after WWE decided to drop the planned Bray Wyatt Lesnar match. As for Reigns, he is looking like a...

Brock Lesnar versus Dean Ambrose is set for WrestleMania, Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio.
That’s the reason why Bray Wyatt never got involved in the Fastlane main event, as WWE made the decision to pull the proposed Wyatt Lesnar feud.
“There’s no Brock Lesnar Bray Wyatt match now,” Meltzer said, “the decision was made to go with Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.”
It is a good booking, far more interesting than the Wyatt Lesnar feud, but it does look like Ambrose will be losing yet another major match. They could always go the other way, have Ambrose as a heel who defeats Lesnar and then goes on to a feud with Reigns, but that undermines Lesnar’s status. There’d be bigger money if Brock defeated Ambrose and then went on to challenge Reigns in a rematch of their WrestleMania 31 bout.

In the week that saw Wade Barrett state his intention to leave WWE, the big (continued) news was that the Undertaker will probably fight someone not currently on the roster at WrestleMania, as the company basically admitted they don’t have anyone good enough to pit him against. At least we all get something surprising at the showcase event and not an exercise in pushing Braun Strowman.
There was further confirmation that Roman Reigns will probably headline the show, a tease for Rey Mysterio returning and the news that Titus O’Neill won’t leave WWE despite touching the boss up in a provocative way. And through it all, the talent took to social media to interact with the fans, post selfies and promote bikini businesses like no-one’s business. If he was dead, Bray Wyatt would be spinning in his grave.

Fastlane 2016 is the last pay-per-view before WrestleMania. It looks to have what should be a good main event, at least in terms of in-ring quality. But just because Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns versus Dean Ambrose will be a ‘good match’, it doesn’t necessarily mean it should be happening.
Indeed, the main event has several big problems, while the rest of the card is reading like a Sunday Night Raw line-up.
Fans don’t need to wait until next Monday morning to dissect Fastlane’s mistakes, with the key errors having already been made and the company very much booked into a corner.
Which brings about the very first point about Fastlane’s shortcomings, notably its predictability.

Stemming from the events of Raw’s closing segment, WWE.com has officially announced another match for the Fastlane Pay-Per-View.
In a six-man tag team bout, Kane, The Big Show, and Ryback will take on Braun Strowman, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. Bray Wyatt won’t be competing in the match, but he’ll be in his “Family’s” corner.
A showdown between the giants has been brewing since January 4, when The Wyatt Family attacked Ryback and The Big Show after a Raw match between the two. At the Royal Rumble, Strowman easily eliminated both Kane and Show. Since the Rumble, The Wyatts have been dominant, taking out Kane, Show, and Ryback individually while bragging that the day of WWE’s titans has come and gone.
On Monday’s Raw, a scheduled main event between Big Show and Strowman ended in a quick disqualification when the rest of...

Bray Wyatt and his family are one of the most interesting stables that the WWE have created in a long time. Debuting on Raw back in the summer of 2013, the potential this group had was vast, in large part thanks to the fact that they had a talented speaker like Bray Wyatt at the helm.
We’re almost three years down the road, and fans still are waiting to see the group become proper main event players. Granted they have engaged with high-profile stars such as John Cena, Roman Reigns and The Undertaker, but for most part, the family are pretty much a stepping stone for others to move onto bigger and better things.
Whilst we’re trying really hard to believe that Bray Wyatt and is family are a credible threat, through various questionable booking decisions we haven’t been able to buy into it yet. Having...
