Demi Moore poses with two of her daughters – Rumer and Scout – while stepping out for the opening celebration of the The Frankie Shop x Crosby Studios LA pop-up installation on Friday (February 23) in Los Angeles.
The 61-year-old actress was also seen posing with Crosby Studios founder Harry Nuriev at the event, which features the installation “The Meeting Room.”
Also in attendance at the opening were Gabrielle Union, Alexandra Shipp, Dree Hemingway, Zelda Williams, Rainey Qualley, Josephine Skriver, Olivia Thirlby, Andrew Matarazzo, Marta Pozzan, Olivia Welch, Langley Fox and Kim Gordon.

Rainey and Margaret have both followed their mom into Hollywood, working as actors. Most recently, Rainey appeared in 2020's "Love in the Time of Corona" and 2022 thriller "Shut In." Make no mistake, women in Hollywood believe in the power of gemstones and jewelry. Rob Schroeder’s sci-fi-tinged debut feature nests a lot of plots inside but doesn’t really add them up
A nocturnal traveller caught in a freaky menage a trois; an isolated mistress to a powerful senator; a technician in an experimental facility who seems to feed lines to characters in the other dramas. Rob Schroeder’s sci-fi-tinged feature debut expends much effort arranging these nested realities in a furiously scrambled film that makes you feel like you’re the test subject in Inception’s dream machine – and one who’s sniffed a few tubes of Bostik before bedtime. It’s a brave storyteller’s gambit, but there’s something finally underwhelming and convoluted about Ultrasound once it deigns to join the dots.

Gallo stars in this taste-free complaint about America’s decline in Christian values: paedophilia, meth addiction, single momhood – it’s all here
Donald Trump fan Vincent Gallo is out of acting retirement; he’s swapped his slippers for a syringe to play a seedy meth addict in this ropey survival thriller. Shut In is, as I’m sure you’re aware, the new film from Ben Shapiro and his website The Daily Wire. I was initially impressed by the reviews it was getting. Then I noticed how many of them were from sites that, even if they didn’t call themselves conservative, right wing, or even political, had a very obvious point of view. Comments about “beta males”, Hollywood’s “liberal agenda” and complaints about “woke culture” abounded. So, as with their previous. film, Run Hide Fight, I decided to watch it and see if it was a decent thriller or propaganda.
Jessica is a former meth addict struggling to stay straight and raise her two young children. She also wants to sell the house her grandmother left her, move away and start over.

The Daily Wire wants to make conservative movies to take on liberal Hollywood, which might sound like a lost cause from the start. But today it’s releasing a movie based on a Black List screenplay with a compelling genre hook that almost looks commercial — and just happens to sneak conservative values into the heart of its story.
The right-wing publication sells Leftist Tears travel mugs and hosts a podcaster who believes doctors who perform gender-affirmation surgeries are “treating kids like Frankenstein’s monster.” However, it might be able to succeed where Dinesh D’Souza, Steve Bannon, and other conservative filmmakers failed: Adapt a red-state approach to movies that sublimates politics into the story rather than turning it into obvious propaganda.
Today the site premieres its first original feature, “Shut In,” a thriller from “Disturbia” director DJ Caruso. Rainey Qualley stars as a single mother who, after being locked in her...

"We are doing true good here, Shannon, don't lose sight of that." Magnolia Pictures has revealed the first trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller titled Ultrasound, made by producer Rob Schroeder making his feature directorial debut. This premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and it also played at the Fantasia Film Festival last fall. The synopsis is incredibly vague: After his car breaks down, Glen spends one hell of an odd night with a married couple, setting into motion a chain of events that alter their lives... "Brilliantly constructed and meticulously detailed, [the film] gradually destabilizes the viewer's processing of the reality it presents, with a control that is as uncommon as it is remarkable... Textured with all kinds of clever subtleties, the film plays with its audience in revealing its mysteries, always keeping several steps ahead." Starring Vincent Kartheiser, Chelsea Lopez, Breeda Wool Tunde Adebimpe, Chris Gartin, plus Rainey Qualley. From...

Exclusive: Conservative media site The Daily Wire has taken the unusual step of launching its first original movie, Shut In, for free on YouTube.
The Black List and BloodList thriller, directed by xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage and Disturbia director D.J. Caruso, will debut on YouTube on the evening of February 10. The stream will only available in the U.S. During the screening, The Daily Wire will also show a first look teaser trailer for its Gina Carano western Terror On The Prairie, and reveal a new movie project it is working on. While ad-supported free movie launches are becoming more popular as the distribution ecosystem evolves, this launch is not ad supported, we are told, but is more of a marketing play. The initial plan was to debut the film for Daily Wire subscribers, but the site’s subs will now get an exclusive window to see the...

Cult and controversial actor-director Vincent Gallo is returning to acting after a near decade-long absence from features.
Quietly, Gallo took on one of the lead roles in D.J. Caruso’s movie thriller Shut In, which is the first original movie from conservative media outlet-turned film producer The Daily Wire, which just revealed the casting.
The project marks Gallo’s first feature acting role since 2013 film The Human Trust. The actor-filmmaker, now 60, is best known for directing controversial indie movie The Brown Bunny (2003) with Chloe Sevigny and Christina Ricci starrer Buffalo 66 (1998). In 2010 he won the best actor prize at the Venice Film Festival for his turn in Jerzy Skolimowski’s well-received movie Essential Killing.
Gallo is also known for making incendiary and provocative comments. His website — described by The Daily Wire as “satirical” — has come under fire for discriminatory passages. As an avowed Trump fan and a political conservative,...

"Isn't this place just magical?" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled an official trailer for an indie film titled The Shuroo Process, marking the feature directorial debut of English actor Emrhys Cooper. This is premiering at the Woodstock Film Festival this month, before opening on VOD starting in November. When a young NYC based freelance magazine writer, frustrated with the pressures of a failing publishing world and a less than promising romantic life, becomes infatuated by a wildly charismatic self-help guru it sends her on a journey of self improvement with catastrophic consequences. The Shuroo Process "explores the dangers of the cultish self-help industry and what it's like to fall prey to its promises of transformation." From this trailer, I was almost expecting it to say the scam is "part of the process" and even if it's fake, at least it helps her somehow. Maybe? Starring Fiona Dourif, Donal Brophy, Tommy Dorfman,...

There’s a limit to how long a movie can mess with viewers’ minds, and “Ultrasound” eventually crosses that threshold. A thriller whose discomforting early going provides few clues to the head-spinning madness lying in wait, director Rob Schroeder’s feature debut channels a host of acclaimed masters while attempting to craft a uniquely beguiling dreamscape in which nothing is as it appears. , although the reward for such perseverance isn’t enough to make up for its prior, aggravating puzzle-box obliqueness.

News broke December 24 revealing the reason Shia Labeouf was replaced by Harry Styles on Olivia Wilde’s new directorial effort, “Don’t Worry Darling,” is because the filmmaker fired Labeouf due to his poor behavior in pre-production. It was originally reported that Labeouf was exiting the film because of a scheduling conflict, but Variety reported the actor had actually violated Wilde’s “no asshole policy” on set. As revealed this week by The Hollywood Reporter, the “Don’t Worry Darling” firing resulted in another clash between Wilde and Labeouf on a different project: Rainey Qualley’s music video for “Love Me Like You Hate Me.”

"I'm so scared of breakin' up..." Some of the most creative filmmaking is in music videos, because they have the freedom to do whatever they want and express emotions in imaginative ways. Love Me Like You Hate Me is a music video for the Rainsford song "Love Me Like You Hate Me", and it stars Margaret Qualley (Rainsford's real-life sister) and Shia Labeouf. It's a choreographed dance featuring the actors as lovers. The video is presented in the 4:3 aspect ratio with split above/below shots, and their movements play out opposite of each other - each video ends up where the other one begins. Rainsford (aka Rainey Qualley) wrote on Instagram: "Please watch it. It's filled with love and pain and tenderness and rage and real pieces of my heart." It is very Nsfw - both actors perform entirely nude and while there is no sex, it is seductive and intimate.

When I heard the concepts for the show Love in the Time of Corona and film Coastal Elites, I thought I was in for heartwarmingly interconnected stories in the vein of Love Actually. With Love in the Time of Corona, that's exactly what I was getting! With Coastal Elites, it was something else entirely. Yet with both the show and the film, all I could focus on was the backdrop of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Instead of rooting for Love in the Time of Corona's Oscar (Tommy Dorfman) and Elle's (Rainey Qualley) respective romances, I was thinking about how unlucky in love my quarantine swiping had been. Rather than relating to (or laughing along at the satirical take of) Coastal Elites's Mark (Daniel Levy) or Clarissa (Sarah Paulson), it made me feel like I was being pandered to in a way I hadn't asked for. In Love in the Time of Corona, we got to see Rainey Qualley and Tommy Dorfman play best friends, but in real life, Rainey considers her sister, actress Margaret Qualley, her "best friend" and "the most inspiring, beautiful, talented, [and] fiercely smart person" she knows. Over the years, the pair has had their fair share of red carpet appearances alongside their mom Andie MacDowell, but as they've gotten older, they've become stars in their own right: Margaret with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Rainey releasing music as Rainsford. They also make sure to frequently show support for one another, as Rainey often posts about her sister on Instagram and Margaret once acted as craft services during an intimate music video shoot for Rainey's song "Crying in the Mirror." You can see some of the sisters' sweetest snaps ahead.
