Joachim Baldauf
German photographer Joachim Baldauf became internationally known in the
nineties when his technically brilliant and artificial arrangements for
Wallpaper magazine helped it to become a style icon for a whole
generation. Since then, his work has been featured in Elle, Quest, GQ,
Sleek, Vogue, Tush and Vanity Fair. He is a winner of many awards
including Cover Of The Year award by the International Art Directors
Club as well as being the only German photographer ever to receive the
Distinctive Merit Award by the Society of Publication Designers in
1999. He won countless Lead Awards by the Lead Academy Hamburg for his
editorials that appeared in supplements of Süddeutschen Zeitung,
Jetzt-Magazin and Zeit-Magazin.
