It's the question on fans' minds everywhere after Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 12, and it seems like even the cast doesn't know whether the Apple TV+ dramedy is over.
TV Fanatic got to chat with Phil Dunster, who plays Jamie Tartt, about the finale's series-ending vibe.
The actor was surprised about how the show wrapped up many storylines.
He believes the episode could have gone in a very different direction, but what Jason Sudeikis and the creatives crafted was realistic.
"It's not the Hollywood ending; none of it is," Phil, who has been with the series since Ted Lasso Season 1 Episode 1, revealed.
All the arcs came together in a way grounded in reality, including AFC Richmond coming second in the league.
The actor recalled reading the script thinking the team beating West Ham meant they had won the league and being surprised in the aftermath.

TV timing is a funny thing. In the heyday of network TV, shows were cranked out quickly, and popular sitcoms with speedy production schedules like "Seinfeld" got the chance to comment on current events within a matter of days or weeks. If a pop culture reference on prime-time didn't feel current, it at least arrived just slightly late to the water cooler. But in the era of streaming, TV production has changed. Seasons of streaming shows are made all at once, often across many months, for an eventual airdate that comes long after their scripts were written.
This change may not be an obvious one for most viewers, but every now and again, it leads to a glaring discrepancy, like a reference to a recently-passed celebrity, or an out-of-date political reaction. Most recently, that unlucky sense of irony has come for "Ted Lasso," the Emmy-winning sitcom and crowning jewel of...

This post contains spoilers for the "Ted Lasso" season 3 premiere.
"Ted Lasso" is finally back, and it's... kind of sad? The season premiere of the typically winsome soccer sitcom premiered this week on Apple TV+, and the biggest surprise so far is that the season opener is more likely to make viewers cry than laugh.
The show has taken big, emotional swings before, revealed that Ted's (Jason Sudeikis) dad died by suicide when he was a teen and setting an episode at Rebecca's (Hannah Waddingham) father's funeral. But "Ted Lasso" has always known how to balance its downbeat moments with its sense of wacky, wordplay-loving humor -- until now. The latest season of "Ted Lasso" leans much further into drama territory than comedy, and the result is a premiere that feels as if it's full of gaps that were meant to be filled with mostly missing jokes.

Teen horror Red Rose arrived on BBC Three this week to ruin the sacred relationship between a youth and their phone. As if the internet wasn’t scary enough already, in Red Rose a sinister app appears to drive teenagers to commit suicide. Is it supernatural? Who’s behind it? Why? And who will it strike next? This Bolton-set chiller is refreshingly funny at the same time as being super dark. Created by Michael and Paul Clarkson who have horror pedigree as producers on The Haunting of Bly Manor, the show features a strong ensemble cast of scrappy Northerners who call their collective group ‘the dickheads’. Over eight episodes the mystery of Red Rose slowly unfolds with some big old twist right up to the conclusion. Let’s break down the big questions posed by that ending.
Is Red Rose supernatural?
Nope, turns out man made. It’s not...
