Denmark-based singer and entrepreneur Arian Romal has created a tribute song dedicated to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The song highlights the ongoing social media movement seeking truth about his death. Romal feels the recent focus on the alleged Bollywood drug links is taking away attention from the death probe.
The song titled "We Roar" is meant to contribute to the #JusticeForSSR movement, defined by the line, "Take rest now, we will keep this fight go on…"
However, while planning to collaborate with Mumbai-based musicians for the song, Romal, who is currently in the city, did not have a pleasant experience.
"I know plenty of musicians from India and many of them on a personal level. They come and meet me at my place and studio just to chill. I called a few of them and told them about my idea of a tribute song for Sushant, and offered them to collaborate with me.

When debutant director Rajat Kazmi submitted his hard-hitting treatise on the unrest in the Kashmir Valley for censoring, he expected plenty of trouble over the volatile subject and candid dialogues about the State of siege. Instead he was told that the film would have to be viewed by a Muslim individual to ensure the religious references were current.
Kazmi who is a Kashmiri Muslim found the precondition strange. "I knew what I was talking about in Identity Card. The issue of Kashmiri militancy and how brutally it affects local Kashmiri civilians is very close to my heart. So when after the censor panel viewed my film I was told it would have to be viewed by a Muslim, I was confused."
Finally though, Kazmi whose gripping film releases this week heaved a sigh of relief, as only two cuts were ordered and the film was passed with a 'UA' certification.

Vikram Bhatt had given her a break (and a hit film) in the form of Haunted. Still there was no favouritism at play when Tia Bajpai's Lanka released last year. Vikram decided to stay away from it despite it being his own production since it didn't meet his expectations. However, now that his next film Hate Story is igniting some good heat, Vikram is backing the film to the hilt. "It is clearly that Vikram is letting his head do all the talking instead of heart. Tia is his find and he is obviously protective about her. However, he doesn't intend to support a film just for that reason. When Lanka was being promoted, he stayed away from it and didn't make two bones about it even though Manoj Bajpayee and Arjan Bajwa made their displeasure about it. Even Tia was disheartened with the way Lanka released and disappeared without making any impact whatsoever.
