Alex Ranarivelo has done a great job directing the romantic film Holiday in the Vineyards. The movie revolves around the story of Carter Baldwyn, the heir to a renowned wine company, and Valentina, a realtor who has been trying to back local winemakers. Holiday in the Vineyards has a wonderful cast, including Josh Swickard and Sol Rodriguez, which adds charm to the movie. The film has a festive vibe entangled with romance elements, which can be paralleled with the film Your Christmas or Mine. Will Carter be able to ensure that the local essence of Huckabee Vineyards is maintained? Will the differences between Valentina and Carter be resolved? Let’s find out!
Spoiler Alert
Why Does Carter’s Mother Send Him To Los Santos?

For quite some time now, Christmas has come every day for Ali Afshar.
The actor, producer and former race car driver is founder and president of Esx Entertainment, a prolific indie film and TV production company that’s made its name in recent years pumping Yuletide content to streamers amid the pandemic.
The projects are modestly budgeted and shot efficiently and safely, mostly due to Afshar’s commandeering of his hometown — a sleepy Sonoma County village called Petaluma, where he built a soundstage from a converted barn and mines below-the-line crew from local residents. Titles include Netflix’s “A California Christmas” and its sequel “City Lights,” and the HBO Max originals “A Christmas Mystery,” “A Hollywood Christmas” and “Holiday Harmony.”
Afshar’s well-oiled Christmas machine functions at such a level that, during a recent conversation with Variety, he revealed he was in the middle of shooting another film — “A Wine Country Christmas.

This article contains Star Trek: Picard spoilers.
Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode 3
If you’ve never seen Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, it’s maybe hard to imagine it even existing. Unlike many other famous science fiction films, what makes The Voyage Home so absurdly good is that it’s equal parts ridiculous and brilliant. It makes a statement about conservation and ecology but also has a very silly chase scene in which Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy break Chekov out of a hospital. These days Star Trek: Picard season 2 isn’t playing all the Star Trek time travel tropes for laughs, but, starting with episode 3, “Assimilation,” the series is doing a pretty serious Voyage Home homage in the best way possible.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
The way the latest episode of Picard begins remixing The Voyage Home starts pretty quickly at the top of episode 3. As teased in the previous episode,...

Exclusive: Elizabeth Grullon is set to join Freeform’s Party of Five reboot in a recurring role.
Grullon will step into the role of Sully, an activist that crosses paths with Lucia (Emily Tosta) and becomes an inspiration to her cause. She is the latest to join the cast after Deadline exclusively reported that Garcia and Sol Rodriguez were also joining the Freeform family drama in recurring roles.
The original Party of Five premiered in 1994 and followed the Salinger siblings whose parents died in a car crash. The new series comes from Sony Pictures Television and retells the story through a modern-day lens, chronicling the Acosta children, bound by adversity, as they navigate daily struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported back to Mexico. The Acosta family is played by Brandon Larracuente, Emilio Acosta, Niko Guardado, Elle Paris Legaspi, Bruno Bichir and Fernanda Urrejola.

Exclusive: Garcia and Sol Rodriguez are set to join Freeform’s Party of Five reboot in recurring roles.
Known best for their role on Netflix’s Tales of the City, Garcia, a trans, non-binary actor and activist, will play Matthew, who ran away from a difficult situation at home. Matthew is described as “guarded and street-smart, and while he becomes close with a new friend, he doesn’t want anyone’s help – not when he can figure it out on his own.”
Rodriguez (Devious Maids) steps into the guest star role of Natalia, the Acostas’ new babysitter. She is described as “bohemian and artsy” but is ready to stand up to the oldest Acosta sibling Emilio (Brandon Larracuente) when she needs to.

With stories of the Trump administration’s newest border policy decision causing children to be separated from their families and locked in cages, it’s no surprise the entertainment industry’s most prominent figures have spoken out against the policy this past week.
The topic was unavoidable at the National Association of Latino Independent Producers’ Latino Media Awards at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood on Saturday.
“Flatliners” and “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” star Diego Luna, who received the outstanding achievement in film award, told Variety he believes it is the duty of Latino creators to bring their stories to light, including the stories of the children being separated from their families.
“What’s been in happening in this country these last few days, this cruelty cannot be accepted or tolerated,” Luna said. “We have to remind ourselves that we are the ones telling our stories, so we...

"Maybe Jill is doing you a favor? Maybe it's the life you're supposed to be living..." The official trailer has debuted for a bizarre dark comedy film titled Bitch, from indie writer/director Marianna Palka (Always Worthy, Good Dick), who also co-stars in the film. The film is about a woman who assumes the psyche of a vicious dog as her checked-out, philandering husband attempts to keep the family together. Palka stars as Jill, and Jason Ritter stars as her husband (the same duo who co-starred in Palka's Good Dick in 2008, though I don't think these are shared universes). The cast includes Jaime King and Brighton Sharbino, with appearances by Sol Rodriguez, Roger Guenveur Smith, Eric Edelstein, and Martin Starr. This looks totally wacky and biting (no pun intended) and comedic in the weirdest of ways. Worth a quick look. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Marianna Palka's Bitch,...

One of the more emotionally taxing features to earn the classification of “midnight movie” — at least in this year’s Sundance program — fearless writer-director-actress Marianna Palka has crafted an bold, dark domestic comedy with Bitch. Based upon a strange case in her native Scotland, it centers on a woman who channels her spirit animal into a radical transformation.
Palka plays housewife Jill, a suicidal introvert raising four children seemingly alone in a generic suburbia. Her husband Bill (Jason Ritter), an empty suit at an unnamed firm, offers little help, spending time with a sexy co-worker Annabelle (Sol Rodriguez), ignoring his work and family obligations. To add insult to injury the kids seem love their absentee dad while torturing Jill with a daily crisis, from getting dressed to bed wetting accidents.
Haunted by a barking dog reminiscent of Summer of Sam, Jill undergoes a Kafka-esque metamorphosis, hiding in the basement, rolling around in her own feces,...
