"If we enjoy each other so much, then why did we stop talking??" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled an official trailer for an indie drama about friendship titled Dylan & Zoey, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Matt Sauter. This will be out in November on VOD if anyone wants to watch. Two friends, whose relationship has grown fraught for reasons unknown, reunite over the course of one evening to bridge the gap that has divided them for so long. While picking up where they left off proves easy at first, they quickly realize that in order to truly heal, they must confront the traumas that fractured them. Blake Scott Lewis & Claudia Doumit co-star as the titular Dylan & Zoey. The indie cast includes Kim Hamilton, Malcolm Barrett, Bella Popa, Kyle Jones, and Kamahl Naiqui. I really hope by the end these two realize they should be a couple, because they really...

Our film kicks off with, let us say, more than a wink and a nod to the seminal horror film The Exorcist. A film that, nearly 40 years on still can shock and terrify. Exorcism at 60,000 Feet might not shock and terrify in the same way. But it is not a subtle film, in many ways. Our exorcist here really looks the part, however rather than trying to get the beast out of the possessed man, he rather reluctantly shoots him in the head. Suddenly. I am invested.
There is a bit of black humour injected into proceedings. Wait. Lance Henrikson is in this? This is shaping up...

Produced by genre magazine Girls and Corpses and distributed by Shout! Studios, Exorcism at 60,000 Feet comes from director Chad Ferrin, a filmmaker who has a wealth of experience in horror having worked consistently in genre fare since getting his start as production assistant on the likes of The Prophecy, Halloween 6 and Hellraiser: Bloodline. Team Ferrin’s experience with a cast that includes such genre superstars as Lance Henriksen, Bill Moseley, Adrienne Barbeau, Bai Ling, Kevin J. OConnor and Kelli Maroney and you have the makings of what could be a modern horror must-see. But is it?
In a word. Yes.

The Boonies, and yes that is undoubtedly a play on That more famous 80s action-adventure comedy, sees five seniors – who were childhood best friends who nicknamed themselves The Boonies – become reunited after a dead classmates video reveals a million dollar treasure hunt inside Boone high school
I’m not going to lie, about 30 minutes into The Boonies I realised that I’d totally zoned out and was not paying attention to what was going on in the film. Why? Well for a lot of this films initial running time it’s a cliched, stereotypical character-filled, homage to the kids films of the 80s. But a bad homage. Maybe it’s because the title is a riff on The Goonies and I was expecting something more,...

Many-time “Jeopardy!” champion James Holzhauer now knows his return date to the Alex Trebek-hosted game show — and whom he’ll face. Holzhauer will play the answers-as-questions game again in next month’s “Tournament of Champions,” with Wednesday, Nov. 6 marking his first time back at the buzzer since that long winning-streak ended in June.
The woman who ended it, Emma Boettcher, will also play in the tournament. Ken Jennings, the only competitor to ever win more “Jeopardy!” games than Holzhauer, is not in this one.
Below is the schedule and mini bios of each day’s players.
