It was YouTube night on "America's Got Talent" (Tue., 8 p.m. Et on NBC), and while the special Internet episode has brought some fresh injections of impressive talent on the show in the past, it didn't work out that way this year.
This was the third year the show has tapped YouTube, with diminishing returns each time. Two seasons ago, YouTube gave them their eventual runner-up in Jackie Evancho. Last season, West Springfield Dance Team made it to the Top 10. By the end of the night, new judge Howard Stern was asking whose idea it was to have a YouTube night anyway.
But it wasn't all negative critiques from the judges. They actually liked Academy of Villains, a dance troupe out of San Francisco. Also getting positive remarks were 16-year old singer Bria Kelly, and a man who called his bird to him from the roof of a nearby building.
