If you're a movie geek who happens to be into board games, you're gonna love Big Trouble in Little China: The Game! It was designed by Chris Batarlis and Boris Polonsky, who are obviously big fans of the John Carpenter movie classic. The game is still in development, but below you will find information on the game that has been released, along with box art, game art, and cool character miniatures! I've just started getting into these kinds of games and they're actually pretty fun if you have a good group of friends to play with.
It’s a thematic, cooperative, strategy, miniatures, adventure game that allows 1-4 players to experience the events they remember from the film as well as create new adventures of their own. The game plays in two acts: Act One uses the front side of the game board: Chinatown, while Act Two takes place...

Wild man director Ken Russell struck back against commercial indifference with this alternately elegant and outrageous horror offering, that excepting a few hard- ‘R’ moments, comes off as a real (snake) charmer. Few horror movies have a real sense of wit, and fewer still can laugh at themselves without crumbling into sad parody. As if reclaiming horror as a British-made product, Russell’s The Lair of the White Worm shows us what a next-generation Hammer...

Well look-e here my creeps; none other than Kill Or Be Killed‘s Die-rector slash writers Justin Meeks and Duane Graves have just rolled into the Crypt o’ Xiii like a couple o’ tumblin’ tumbleweeds!
Famous Monsters. Welcome to the Crypt! Let’s just jump right in; what inspired ya to create Kill Or Be Killed?
Justin Meeks. I have always had a special place in my heart for westerns, and a burning desire to make one. Sergio Leone, Clint Eastwood, Peckinpah, and others have brought their visions into my living room many times. So, after our film Wild Man Of The Navidad was sold at Tribeca, we had a meeting with the Weinstein Co. They were interested in what was on the back burner, and we pitched them a rough idea for Kill Or Be Killed, untitled at the time. They seem to love it, and that inspired Duane...

Jessica Simpson has a lot to celebrate! The blonde beauty shared a ton of new photos via Instagram on Thursday, from her five year anniversary celebration with hubby Eric Johnson. In one photo, the mother-of-two is pictured with the former footballer while the pair is out to dinner. "The sexiest day of my life was 5yrs ago when Johnson came into my home #MAY21," Simpson captioned the candid snap. In a second photo, Jess and Eric pose with their two pals, Bret Harrison and Lauren Harrison. "Fortunate for these two @laurenz422 and @bretharrison for the unexpected intro #MAY21 #Johnson," the 34-year-old posted with the pic. The fashion mogul was a bridesmaid at Lauren and Bret's 2012 nuptials -- Harrison was also Jessica's assistant at the time. Jess and Eric said "I do" last July, and the cute couple already has two adorable kiddies together, Maxwell, 3 and Ace, 22-months. "Back home to...

So sad. A New York fashion designer who created costumes for Broadway shows like ‘Swing,’ ‘Promises, Promises’ and ‘Evita,’ was found dead on Feb. 16 after he apparently slipped and fell into the Hudson River.
Celebrity fashion designer Michele Savoia, 55, was missing for days before his body was finally discovered and pulled from the Hudson River on Feb. 16. It’s unclear at this time whether there was any foul play in his death, police say.

Directors Duane Graves and Justin Meeks are the subject of our latest Q&A feature, telling us about their experience with the recently released cannibal film, Butcher Boys:
Can you tell me how you got involved with Kim Henkel on this project? Was this something you came to him with or the other way around?
Duane Graves: We’ve had a long 16 year relationship with Kim Henkel. He was our college film professor back in the late 90′s. We took a year of screenwriting courses under him, and after graduating we kept in touch. Justin and I produced a trio of short horror films that Kim produced, and eventually we decided to do a feature film back in 2006 called “The Wild Man of the Navidad.” That film premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival in NYC and was picked up by IFC Films for release internationally. The success of...

In an excerpt from her new memoir, My Foot Is Too Big for the Glass Slipper, former pro volleyball player Gabrielle Reece takes a page from a male friend and says to hell with pining for her youth.
By Gabrielle Reece
Not long ago I showed up for a magazine shoot and the photographer, upon seeing me, stopped in his tracks, widened his eyes, threw open his arms, and exclaimed, "Gabrielle, I am amazed at how good you still look." He's a genuinely nice person in a field filled with sometimes not-so-nice people, and it's possible he regretted that tiny word still the second it tumbled out of his mouth. So he went on to overcompensate, praising the state of my skin ("even though you've spent so much time in the sun") and my figure ("even though you've had two kids"). He meant well, and yet every sentence he uttered...

Nicolas Cage once again stars as Nicolas Cage in Stolen, with a new trailer featuring the main man in a somewhat subdued capacity and an over-the-top Josh Lucas.
Wild man Cage has made a career out of unleashing his crazy self in front of the camera, but he actually seems to reign in the craziness a little bit in this trailer that stars him as a former thief forced to pull off one last heist to rescue his daughter from his former partner in crime. Meanwhile, Josh Lucas seems to grab some of that wacko juice, not so much in the way he acts, but how he looks. I didn’t even recognize him until he opened his mouth and spoke.
Hollywood rolls out a tired plot in the movie formerly known as Medallion, making this a must-see for Lucas or Cage fans, and pretty much nobody else. The synopsis...

After thirty years, nine albums and a seventeen year gap only broken by 2005’s superb Aerial, Kate Bush is back with her second album of the year- the first, Directors Cut was a rehash of some of the tracks from her albums The Sensual World and The Red Shoes. Set against a wintery backdrop and featuring a theme of snow, 50 Words for Snow could best be described as a concept album. If the Beach Boys wrote songs about summer, Kate Bush is writing songs about winter.
One of the best tracks on 50 Words for Snow is the opener ‘Snowflake’, a simple piano driven track that isn’t a million miles away from ‘Walking in the Air’; this need not be an insult though, it’s a great sounding track and the ‘Walking in the Air’ comparison can only help the wintery theme. The lyrics on ‘Snowflake...
