- Greg and his wife Lisa live in Dallas, Texas.

- Fresh out of college, Greg worked for Laura Carpenter at the Carpenter-Hochman Art Gallery in Dallas, Texas, as a Modern art curator and installer, and had the opportunity to work with such famous artists and/or their works as Cristo, Jean-Michel Basquiait, James Surl, Bruce Nauman, Frank Stella, and Piet Mondrian, among others.
- To this day Greg holds the Richardson North Junior High Freshman Long Jump Record of 19 feet 1.5 inches, set in 1979. He attended Southwest Texas State University on a partial Track and Field Scholarship as a Long Jumper and High Jumper.
