Moabe Filho has a degree in Radio and TV from UFPE (Federal University of Pernambuco), and in Sound for Cinema and TV from EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba).
He began his career in audiovisual in 2004 and between 2005 and 2007 he was part of the Digital Culture research team, an experiment run by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture to stimulate multimedia productions using free software technologies. During this period he travels around the Culture Points of the North and Northeast states, holding audio and video production workshops with open source software.
Since 2010, he has dedicated himself deeply to studies and practices related to direct sound recording and field sound recordings, creating the sound for feature films, series and advertising videos, in addition to teaching workshops on techniques for sound recording and post-production. .
