The DC cinematic universe may not be doing that well, but DC comics is certainly raging with new ideas and stories and has released a new trailer for their upcoming comic book crossover ‘Godzilla Vs Kong Vs Justice League’ as the iconic DC superheroes battle the two monster icons, in a dark and destructive battle.
The comic will be a seven issue limited series where the DC heroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman will face off against the monster duo as DC now connects itself to the ‘Monster Verse’.
The trailer features some really cool artwork with Superman hearing the monsters approaching as Lois Lane screams. This is followed by Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern attacking the monsters while shocked at their strength as Superman heads off to battle the monsters.
But these monsters will prove too much for even the Kryptonian to handle, so Aquaman...

DC Comics' "Batgirls" #1, available December 14, 2021, is written by Meghan Fitzmartin, Sam Johns, Dan Watters and Tini Howard, with illustrations by Alberto Albquerque, Karl Mostert, Nikola Cizmesija, Christian Duce and covers by Jorge Corona, In-Hyuk Lee:
"...crime-fighting 'Batgirls' 'Cassandra Cain' and 'Stephanie Brown', are only able to navigate the dark, gritty and oftentimes scary city of 'Gotham' by leaning on the bright light that is their best-friendship. Mentored by 'Oracle', the Batgirls move to the other side of town where 'Barbara Gordon' can keep a better eye on them while the hacker 'Seer' is still invading their lives.
"They may be good at kicking ass, but they are just trying their best to be normal teenagers, who'll borrow the keys to a muscle car that belonged to a bad guy and perhaps give it a joyride around town then race to get back home to Oracle by curfew.

Hot on the heels of news that Bloodwork will be the main villain of season 6 of The Flash, we now have some set photos of the character. The recently released trailer from San Diego Comic-Con, which you can see above, showcases Bloodwork as this season’s big bad, with Sendhil Ramamurthy in the role.
Now, new set photos have emerged via Twitter and Hollywood North of Ramamurthy as Dr. Ramsey Rosso, which show him at a cemetery in what seems to be the same introductory scene from the trailer. Going by the age on the tombstone, the photos appear to reveal that Rosso is attending the funeral of his mother Rachel, with Caitlin Snow as one of the guests.
Of course, Bloodwork is a recent addition to the Flash’s Rogues Gallery, having been created by Joshua Williamson, Pop Mhan, and Christian Duce for the 2017 run of the comic series.

Even though it may slip your mind from time to time, the fact of the matter is that the Rebirth era has been home to two Scarlet Speedsters. In the pages of The Flash, we have Barry Allen serving as the titular hero, while the pre-Flashpoint Wally West is running around over in Titans, also sharing that very moniker. And before we proceed any further, please note that he’s not the younger Wally who’s operating under the name of “Kid Flash” in other titles. Yes, comic books can be confusing.
Anyway, it looks like we could see a shift in status quo next year, all thanks to an upcoming story arc titled “Flash War.” Spinning out of the events of Dark Nights: Metal, it’ll see Barry and Wally settle who’s the better Flash once and for all. Set to be written by Joshua Williamson, with art...

Without a doubt, right now is a great time to be a fan of The Flash. Not only does his TV series continue to rank among the best superhero shows currently on the small screen, but the Scarlet Speedster is also set to headline the Flashpoint movie that’ll grace theaters sometime within the next few years.
All that awesomeness aside, we wouldn’t have anything to enjoy in other media if not for the comic books themselves. Fortunate for us, though, is that Joshua Williamson has consistently been hitting home runs ever since he began his tenure on The Flash at the start of the Rebirth era (if you require proof, check out our five-star review for the first collected edition here).
But like any truly great comic book writer, Williamson isn’t just telling good stories. In addition to doing that, he’s also been generously adding to the mythology along the way,...

After such a mesmerizing start, James Tynion IV’s Detective Comics run hit a bit of a stumbling block with the overly lengthy “League of Shadows.” His next big arc is “Intelligence,” which starts in Detective Comics #958, so we won’t have too long to wait to see if he’s able to recapture the magic of his earlier work. For now, though, he’s teamed up with Christopher Sebela to pen the one-issue story “The Wrath of Spoiler,” which focuses on Stephanie Brown.
After her fallout with Batman, Steph makes it her mission to stop costumed vigilantes and villains from tearing Gotham City to pieces. This new crusade of hers includes sabotaging the Bat-Signal every time that it’s lit up by the Gcpd. It’s actually funny to see how she does it while managing to annoy Harvey Bullock and spoil his donuts at the same time.

“League of Shadows” has been one long arc. There’ve been a lot of twists and turns, but it’s starting to feel like a never-ending story. Now, in part five of six, James Tynion IV sets the wheel in motion for the forthcoming finale. He’s done a remarkable job here, because Detective Comics #955 is an action-packed spectacle that will satisfy fans of the Dark Knight’s ninja past.
With all the other members of the Bat Family incapacitated, it’s up to the youngest member, Cassandra Cain, to rescue them. Her biggest obstacle, though, is still her feelings towards her mother, Lady Shiva, and her own identity. As Cassandra tackles the League of Shadows on her own, Ulysses shows his latest weapon to combat the League to Colonel Kane. By now, you’re well aware that a comic book’s original solicitation may not always reflect the final product you’ll eventually find at your local comic shop. In fact, just yesterday, we brought word that such a thing will happen with Batman #23. But whereas that seems to be a case of a new story overwriting what was initially announced, the developing situation with Nightwing is a bit of a different beast.
You see, an arc featuring Blockbuster set to be titled, well, “Blockbuster,” was originally penciled in to make up the content for issue #21, but now what looks to be a standalone tale exploring the fallout of “Nightwing Must Die” will appear in its place. But don’t fret, because “Blockbuster” is simply being pushed a bit while this interim yarn will do its best to enthrall readers.

It’s tie-in central at Marvel this week as X-Men #5 (w/Brian Wood, a/David Lopez) continues Battle of the Atom with a brevity and economy that Brian Bendis should take note of if he wants to make his lion’s share of the chapters anywhere near as compelling or characterful. Wood and Lopez deliver a solid chapter that allows almost every member of the exponentially growing cast to shine while doing a stellar job of keeping the utterly ludicrous plot seem almost grounded in some kind of reality.
