John Michael Lowe was born in Nottingham. He has performed in many notable stage adaptations of "Macbeth," "The Merchant of Venice" and "The History Boys" and the musical "Avenue Q." After discovering an interest in film acting and business, he has worked as a freelance film producer and production assistant for many years, producing multiple short films before making his short film directorial debut in with the horror piece "Dolly." He has recently taken on more acting roles, having appeared in the BFI backed feature,
The Devil Outside (2018) and
Once Upon a Time in London (2019).
