TLC reality show Breaking Amish and spin-off Return to Amish were no strangers to controversies… but the controversies around cast member Chapel Peace Schmucker were stranger than most! This is a woman who was arrested on drug charges — multiple times, according to reports — and who is accused of fooling her co-stars into thinking she was undergoing chemo when her cancer was actually in remission. Read on for the gossip… As TMZ reported in March 2016, Chapel was one of 27 people busted in Pennsylvania after authorities seized $8,400 of heroin, more than $90,000 of meth, and more than $27,000 in cash. The reality star was charged with possession with intent to distribute and for possession of paraphernalia. Troubled Return to Amish star Sabrina Burkholder is giving fans an update on her struggles with sobriety. The mother-of-two — whose children were adopted by their dad's sister — reveals TLC producers have been helping her get clean.
