Lori Loughlin recently spoke about John Stamos, who claimed the two Full House actors made out on a rollercoaster. Even if he joked, she’s allegedly fuming about it. She played the role of Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis, and he played the part of Uncle Jesse on Netflix and ABC. They got along well, and he defended her after she served her time for the college admissions scandal.

John Stamos is feeling nostalgic about his Full House family.
The 60-year-old Uncle Jesse actor took to social media on Thursday (December 21) to share a photo of his original costars together in front of the Tanner family’s home.
He noted that it was “one of the last pictures” of everyone before Bob Saget‘s tragic death at the age of 65 in 2022.
Keep reading to find out more…
The photo features John and Bob with Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey), Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler). Everyone looks so happy to be together.
“One of the last pictures of all of us in San Fran in front of the iconic Painted Lady,” he wrote alongside the photo on Instagram.
The only original Full House actors who were not there were Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who did not return for the Netflix spinoff series Fuller House.

Full House fans will always remember the extended Tanner family as happy, wholesome, and a bit unconventional. The sitcom made audiences laugh but also addressed more serious issues like the death of a parent, teen drinking, eating disorders, and abuse. Each of the main characters brought something special to the screen, and they became a real family. They weren’t all so happy in the beginning, however — John Stamos nearly quit because he hated it so much.
John Stamos was not happy during the early days of ‘Full House’
On a recent episode of Hot Ones, Stamos revealed that he wanted to quit Full House at one point. The actor was under the impression that the sitcom was going to be more like Bosom Buddies, focusing on the antics and relationships of the adults. He thought that the children were just going to be in the background of the story.

John Stamos may have toured with The Beach Boys, had a terrific stint on ER and made a deal with the devil to look that good on the brink of 60, but he will always be Uncle Jesse to us. But as it turns out, John Stamos didn’t enjoy certain aspects of Full House, admitting that early on he did not have mercy on his co-stars – Michelle, Stephanie and D.J., that is.
On a recent episode of First We Feast’s Hot Ones, John Stamos remembered being heated when his younger Full House co-stars were getting the bulk of the attention. “I hated that show,” he said, before admitting, “Obviously, I ended up loving it.” The center of his problems came in the form of Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner. “[She] reads her lines [at a table read], and people are dying laughing, I mean screaming. I was like, ‘What’s happening here?...

John Stamos is best known for portraying Uncle Jesse in the ABC sitcom Full House. Although Stamos loves the recognition he gets from the show, it wasn’t always like that.
The actor recently opened up about how he initially “hated” the comedy after he realized the show was more family-oriented and not like Bosom Buddies as it was originally pitched.
“Full House was… I hated that show,” Stamos said during an appearance on Hot Ones. “Obviously I ended up loving it but it was sort of pitched to me as Bosom Buddies … with a couple of kids in the background. And as we’re casting I was like, ‘They’re spending a lot of time casting these kids that are going to be in the background.'”
He continued, “We did a table read of it and I was the star coming off of General Hospital … and we sit...

Jeff Franklin, the creator of Full House, is looking back at how the show began and recalled a moment when John Stamos almost backed out of the series.
The writer-producer-director appeared on the first episode of Dave Coulier’s new podcast, Full House Rewind, which they dedicated to the late Bob Saget.
While talking about the show’s first table read with the actors, Franklin noted that there was a “room full of studio and network executives and everybody who could possibly be there. They were all there to see Stamos, I think.”
But Franklin recalled that “Jodie [Sweetin] just stole the whole thing” with her humor, which he said left Stamos upset because he was afraid the younger stars were going to steal the spotlight.
Coulier chimed in and said he remembers “walking out with John” afterward when the Scream Queens actor told him, “The whole show’s gonna be her.

The Beach Boys and Stamos may not have seemed to be a match made in heaven, but they were.
How did John Stamos meet The Beach Boys?

It appears the actress doesn’t want to say goodbye to her classic TV character, Stephanie Tanner, just yet as she recently shared an idea for a “Fuller House” reboot, despite the beloved comedy only having ended two years ago.

“Big Shot” is the story of a once-successful but temperamental NCAA basketball coach who lands in hot water when he injures a referee. Add to it a failed marriage, and this hotshot coach is brought down a few pegs.
Now that he’s busted down to minor leagues, he needs to coach the sports team of an all-girls high school. But there’s a caveat — those kids don’t take him seriously. As the dramedy moves on, he magically finds his way back and ends up having a phenomenal redemption arc. “Big Shot” is a true depiction of how second chances can be life-changing.
The series debuted on Disney+ on April 16, 2021. David E. Kelley, Bill D’Elia, Dean Lorey, and Brad Garrett are the executive producers of “Big Shot.” ABC Signature is the studio. It is rumored that the production for season two will kickstart somewhere in 2022.

This isn’t the first time Kelley, Lorey and D’Elia have worked together — they previously worked on Kelley’s “The Crazy Ones” comedy series on CBS, which starred Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Garrett also starred...

Pop a bottle of bubbly, because it's John Stamos' birthday! The Fuller House star, who famously plays Uncle Jesse on the beloved show, turns 56-years-old today. And yes, he's certainly feeling the love on his milestone birthday, especially from his co-star Bob Saget. The 63-year-old comedian and Fuller House actor took to Instagram on Monday morning to pay a special tribute to John, whom he describes as "the most wonderful brother anyone could wish for." "Happy Birthday John. This is the manliest picture I could find of the two of us," Saget quipped on Instagram, alongside an image of the two cuddling. "I try to explain to people it was for your...

John Stamos doesn't want the Full House universe to end. Recently, the Fuller House star revealed he's interested in a prequel to the classic ABC TV show, Deadline reports.

John Stamos is speaking out about the college scandal involving Lori Loughlin. The actor spent many years working alongside on-screen wife Loughlin on Full House, starring as Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky. The pair also reunited in recent years on the Netflix spin-off series, Fuller House, which is currently in production on its final season. So, how is the show dealing with Loughlin's absence amid the scandal? "We haven't yet," Stamos, who is also a producer on the show, told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell, "I haven't been on the show yet, so, it hasn't come up." Stamos went on to say he's going to "talk to some people" this week and...

Perhaps there will be more Fuller House after the fifth and final season wraps? Producer John Stamos, who starred as Uncle Jesse on Full House and reprises the role in the show’s spin-off Fuller House, provided some hope to fans in an interview with Et, saying he’s looking at a possible series prequel. “I’m interested in what happened before Full House,” Stamos told Et’s Nancy O’Dell, in reply to whether a follow-up series could be in the works. The Full House spinoff was renewed for a fifth and final season early this year.
“There’s a lot of energy still with that show,” Stamos said, “And there’s too much happiness that show has brought to a lot of people, so it’s not going to go down easy, I’m not going to let it,” he added. Stamos confirmed Season 5 will consist of 18 episodes,...

Whatever happened to predictability? The dragons, the Iron throne, the race for King's Landing? Sorry, after the Game of Thrones series finale, I'm feeling a little nostalgic. It's the end of an era, but thanks to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the fun continues in the form of a sitcom revival: Full House Lannister. Despite Jaime Lannister's real-life Got end, he swaps places with Uncle Jesse in this fake reboot to learn some not-so family-friendly lessons with Danny and Joey.
Turns out, Jaime's problems with Cersei are a little difficult for the guys to stomach. In the wise words of Uncle Joey, Jaime doesn't just need to "cut it out" - he needs to "stop f*cking his sister." I mean, Joey's not wrong. Watch the full video above to see the hilarity ensue - I definitely wouldn't be mad if this ended up being one of HBO's three Got spinoffs.

Fuller House debuted on Netflix in 2016 to plenty of fanfare. Rebooting the show was a big deal and many viewers who watched the original Full House series tuned in to watch the new one with their children. The premise was similar to the original but the roles were reversed. D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) was a widow with three children. Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) moved in to help with the children. Of course, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (Dave Coulier) made appearances throughout the series. When will Fuller House […]

The Full House franchise has never been short on emotionally exploitative moments — we still get choked up thinking about Papouli! — but the fourth season of Fuller House takes things to a whole new level.
The premiere — which hit Netflix on Friday, along with 12 other episodes — finds the Fuller household in much need of Christmas cheer. Not only is Tommy suddenly terrified of Santa after a meltdown at the mall, but Max is also approaching the holiday with a humbug attitude. (Christmas Eve is normally his favorite day of the year, “and that includes the season premiere of Blue Bloods!”) Everyone else,...

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Episode 106 of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”)
When Netflix compared “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” to “The Exorcist” in the reboot’s logline, they were not messing around.
“An Exorcism in Greendale” — Episode 6 of the new take on the Archie Comics teen witch — is actually a tribute to the 1973 horror flick, with the 16-year-old Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) performing an (unauthorized) exorcism of her own to free a man’s soul.
Of course, if you’ve been eating up every piece of news about this show since before its Friday launch, then you already knew that, as creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased the “homage” episode in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in August.

Pressing the play button back after a quick break from routine, Sabrina finds herself tackling two larger than life problems. Better her than us.
But when you pay closer attention, the bigger success comes from the way that other characters are at the center of the story this time around. Giving other main characters roles that fit them allows the show to be even more interesting, and removes the risk of focusing too much on one area.
During Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 Episode 6 and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 1 Episode 7, Sabrina has to deal with a demon that possessed Uncle Jesse and is threatening to take her friends next.
Then she must figure out a way to remove The Feast of Feasts from existence before Prudence is eaten by the whole clan. Meanwhile, Harvey learns more about his family, and he might regret showing interest in the first place.

There's something disconcerting about stumbling upon a Full House rerun and being not-quite-sold when Michelle Tanner delivers a thumbs-up and a "You got it, dude." A childhood shattered, you ask yourself: are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen even good actresses? I have to watch vintage clips for work so for me the answer is an obvious "No," with an extra side of "Omg, no." But in this week's episode of Mg & J Talk Mk & A, we go back and forth about whether the Olsen Twins were the true stars of Full House. The core of my argument? Well Icymi, Mary-Kate and Ashley had a baby wrangler for the early years of their career, and as such, their stint on Full House is basically being fed lines and coaxed into reactions off-screen. And honestly, the delayed reactions grow more and more evident as you (and they) get older. I mean, the twins...

We love our characters on TV. Whether we love to love them or love to hate them, our TV characters take us on a journey with them into their world and out of ours.
Some TV characters, though, grate on us like nails on a chalkboard. If they're not constantly making bad decisions, they're whining like a baby, and making us roll our eyes so hard they might pop out of our heads, every time they show up on the screen.

Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) , “Boy Meets World”
The Matthews’ next-door neighbor was also Cory’s (Ben Savage) teacher and eventually his principal, offering sagely advice throughout his young life. He’ll probably still be at it in the sequel series, “Girl Meets World.”
Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier), “Full House”
Uncle Joey had his puppets and his nieces, but no kids. Still, he played an essential role in helping raise Danny’s (Bob Saget) girls. Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) would have made this list, but he eventually had twins of his own.
Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
Coulson hand-selected his own team, and he filled it with broken people in need of support, direction and guidance. It’s no wonder he’s stepped up as a father figure to so many of them, and especially the orphaned Skye (Chloe Bennet).

If you grew up watching Full House, I would like you to raise your hand if you, like me, had a massive crush on Uncle Jesse. Ok, now that millions of hands are up in the air, please put them down and listen up, because I recently learned a fun fact about his character's name that made me a little emotional, and I need your support.
It was widely known on the show that the fun, wild, lovable, and musically-talented uncle to the Tanner girls was obsessed with Elvis Presley. Uncle Jesse (played by John Stamos) was extremely protective of his gorgeous head of hair, had a cardboard cutout of Elvis in his bedroom, and frequently sang songs like "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" to little Michelle. I thought his love for "the King" was just a fun character trait, but it actually goes way deeper than that.
