Eventually, you reach a point where you have to wonder whether the creatives behind Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are actively trying to anger the fandom. The novelization of the film has revealed, among many other details the movie glosses over, that the Palpatine we saw in the pic was not his original form reborn, but a clone body in which his spirit was housed.
The book isn’t actually on sale until later this month, but advance copies were made available over the weekend at Chicago’s C2E2 convention, giving fans the chance to re-experience the film’s stark mediocrity in text form. In the book, when Kylo arrives on Exegol and encounters Palpatine, he recognizes the machinery the former Emperor is attached to from studying the Clone Wars, deducing that the liquid being pumped into the undead body is all that sustains its grip on life...

Jack And Dean Of All Trades may have ended after two seasons when Fullscreen shuttered its eponymous subscription service, but beloved YouTube duo Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs are getting back on the saddle with a brand new project -- which is being developed through the Sundance Institute and YouTube’s New Voices Lab.
The YouTube-funded initiative, which was introduced in 2016, annually offers workshops, meetings, residencies, and tools to a select group of up-and-coming filmmakers. This year’s class will comprise 12 total creators (and creator teams) who each have a digital series pilot in the works. Howard and Dobbs will be joined by other participants, including Pakistani-American documentarian Sindha Agha, comedy duo Anna Salinas and Edgar Momplaisir, and YouTuber Andy ‘Goldentusk’ Goldenberg. (You can check out the full roster of New Voices fellows right here).

The first original program on the Fullscreen streaming service to receive a second season is ready for its return. Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs, known collectively as Jack & Dean, are the stars of Jack & Dean Of All Trades, which returns to Fullscreen March 16th.
In their Fullscreen show, Jack & Dean portray a pair of eponymous characters who attempt to hold down odd jobs while getting up to all sorts of no good. The second season’s trailer promises plenty of slapstick humor, fast-paced banter, and musical numbers. “It's acceptable in quality,” sing the two lead actors of their new season, “three stars out of five.”
While Howard and Dobbs are the two main draws within their series, a number of guest stars will add to season two’s appeal. The most notable guest will be Jacob Anderson, best known for portraying Grey Worm in Game of Thrones. “This season is bigger,...

For almost eight years, Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs -- known collectively as Jack & Dean -- have released witty, fast-paced comedy sketches on their YouTube channel. Now, with their latest project, the British comedy duo is upping its game. Jack & Dean have released a web series called Jack & Dean Of All Trades through Fullscreen’s new streaming video platform.
The premise of Jack & Dean Of All Trades is simple. Howard and Dobbs, as they always do, play fictionalized versions of themselves, with Dobbs playing the troublemaker while Howard serves as his stern comedic foil. In this particular adventure, Jack & Dean must bicker their way through a series of temp jobs after quitting their lucrative positions in the finance industry.
While the first episode of the series can be seen on Jack & Dean’s YouTube channel, viewing the rest of them will require a subscription to fullscreen, which launched in April.

The internet can be an amazing place for creators and their fans to interact with one another, but it also can be a place for a lot of negativity. At VidCon 2016, some of YouTube's biggest stars took a moment out of their busy schedules to discuss online bullying, emphasize the importance of positivity and support the #HackHarassment initiative. "Sometimes online there are what we call trolls or bullies that want to leave negative comments," GloZell Green says in a #HackHarassment video produced by People. "That's just because they feel bad about themselves and they want to spread that." "The best...

Trainwreck has been available in American movie theaters for several weeks, but it is just now beginning its journey overseas. On August 14th, the romantic comedy will arrive across the pond, and in order to support its British premiere, its star paired up with a notable YouTube duo. In a new video, online video stars Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs--known collectively as Jack and Dean--show us what happens when you try “Dating Amy Schumer.”
The video begins with Howard informing Dobbs about his plan to ask Schumer on a date. After meeting up with the comedienne, Howard’s plan is derailed by a combination of his own awkwardness and Dobbs’ distracting asides. Schumer, much as she did when she collaborated with The Fine Bros, mostly just goes with the flow, rather than attempting to take over the scene; your mileage may vary on whether you think that’s a smart strategy.

If any TV show could ever break the internet, it would probably be Sherlock. With the possible exception of Doctor Who, no British TV series has ever generated quite such a fervent, passionate and obsessive fanbase.
So when last night's series three finale concluded with that twist (Miss me?)... oh boy. Keep reading for a brief sample of Twitter's reactions to 'His Last Vow'.
Tumblr went into meltdown!
And the conspiracy theories have already begun.
Let me guess - Moriarty survived blowing his brains out by putting a squash ball in the gun barrel? #Sherlock

Move over JFK.
Christ. With the return of Moriarty there are now more conspiracy theories surrounding the roof scene than the grassy knoll. #Sherlock
— Gaz Weetman (@GazWeetman) January 12, 2014
And the cynics are getting in early.
#Sherlock s04e01: "How Moriarty survived blowing his brains out is not important. We meant it to be ambiguous.
