Frankie and the Doll (2022) represents Amira's directorial debut that has earned her and her team multiple awards and screenings across the globe. It is a personal triumph as she is now a recognized artist who can represent Canada on the world stage. She also wrote and starred in House of Light (2014), a short dance film that premiered in Mykonos, Greece in 2015.
