- Omer Ben-Shachar is an award-winning director and writer born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel. In 2019, he won a Student Academy Award for his film Tree #3. The short also received top prizes at UrbanWorld, HollyShorts, Palm Springs, Comic-Con, and was nominated for a Student Emmy, among others. Omer's short films have screened at over 60 film festivals around the world including the Hamptons International Film Festival and the Bentonville Film Festival. Omer is a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory, and received the Richard P. Rogers Spirit of Excellence Award for Directing. Omer was a participant of the 2020 Warner Bros. TV Directors' Workshop, the 2019-20 ViacomCBS's ViewFinder Emerging Directors Program and the BAFTA LA Newcomers Program.
