Henry Morillo

Henry Morillo is a freelance producer born and raised in Miami, Florida, and a proud graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he studied Mass Communications and Theatre in the School of Media and Public Affairs. There, he was honored with a regional Student Emmy award in Writing by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his work creating a scripted comedy series called Gender Neutral for GWTV.
In 2014, after graduating, Henry moved to Los Angeles and began his career in television as the Executive Assistant to the VP of Current Programming and the creator of the Dance Moms franchise at Collins Avenue Entertainment, an unscripted production company. After only a year and a half in that position, Henry was offered a position as an Associate Producer on Dance Moms.
Henry is a proud alum of the 2012 Emmys Foundation Internship Program, during which he was the Scripted Series Development Intern at ABC Studios. Henry's previous internship sites include Discovery Studios and Disney Junior.
In 2015, Henry began work as an Associate Story Producer on a new show called Sisters in Law, which follows a group of African-American female lawyers in Houston, TX and premieres in 2016 on WeTV.
