The following article contains spoilers for "The Marvels," including the mid-credits scene.
"The Marvels" has finally hit theaters, and across the board, star Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, has received well-deserved praise. One just cannot look at her enthusiasm and joy and not smile. The film may be having a rough time at the box office, but if Vellani is the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that future is bright. In fact, the future of the MCU is something /Film's own Ethan Anderton discussed while chatting with Vellani about "The Marvels."
During their conversation, Anderton asked Vellani about the mid-credits scene where Kamala Khan recreates the very first MCU post-credits scene. You know, the "Iron Man" one where Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) recruits Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) for his Avengers Initiative? Not only does Kamala show up at Kate Bishop's (Hailee Steinfeld...

Last May, three months before Anne Heche (I Know What You Did Last Summer) died in a horrific car crash, we heard that she had just finished working on a horror thriller called Full Ride, co-starring McKaley Miller, who had roles in the Blumhouse genre projects Ma and Into the Dark: Pure, and Dermot Mulroney, who can currently be seen on the big screen in Scream VI. Full Ride has since been re-titled You’re Killing Me, and Quiver Distribution is set to give it a theatrical and digital release this Friday, April 7th. To see if You’re Killing Me is a movie you would like to check out this weekend, take a look at the trailer embedded above.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" finale.
To say that "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" ended on a surprising note would be an understatement. Marvel finales and third acts have a tendency to be very hit-or-miss, more often than not devolving into a messy CGI spectacle that loses sight of its emotional groundwork. So when She-Hulk, Titania, the Abomination, and even the Hulk himself found themselves gearing up for battle, it seemed like this series would be no exception — but then the writers swerved right off that predetermined route and into the unexpected.
Instead of the same thing we've seen a million times before, "She-Hulk" delivered a clever and hilarious riff on a Marvel finale, effectively blowing our minds and giving Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) complete control of her storyline. For the people pulling the strings, having Jen charge into her own writer's room was a...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you haven’t watched the season finale of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” now streaming on Disney+.
Throughout “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), repeatedly breaks the fourth wall by not only directly addressing the camera, but acknowledging that she exists in a Marvel Studios superhero TV show. In the season finale — pointedly titled “Whose Show Is This?” — Jennifer smashes out of the show entirely, jumping through the Disney+ portal to confront the writers of the show about why the finale is so needlessly convoluted with extraneous, nonsensical plot lines, including one about a cabal of toxic fanboys who troll Jennifer online about being a female superhero who doesn’t deserve her powers.
Eventually, Jennifer confronts the one in charge — no, not Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige, but K.E.V.I.N. (or Knowledge Enhanced Visual Interconnectivity Nexus), a sentient robot armed with “the...

The following contains spoilers from the She-Hulk finale.
Marvel’s image-conscious overlords had minimal notes on the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season finale, which envisioned franchise boss Kevin Feige as an A.I.-driven robot named K.E.V.I.N. (Knowledge Enhanced Visual Interconnectivity Nexus) and called out some of the MCU’s lazier storytelling devices.

This post contains spoilers for the season finale of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
Season 1 of Marvel's "She-Hulk" ended on a surprising note, with She-Hulk/Jen Walters (Tatiana Maslany) breaking through the fourth wall and into the writer's room to question the cliched storylines inherent within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this clever, super-meta self-callout, Jen questions the problem with regurgitated MCU plotlines (such as variations of the Super Original Super-Serum plotlines) and how female pleasure is depicted in these superhero offerings. The results are fun, with Jen taking control over her own storyline ... even though the episode ends with a formulaic reveal that potentially sets up a major Hulk storyline from the comics.
During Jen's family get-together, she brings Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) along, and we love to see the two looking awkwardly coy in this setting. Enter Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who had gone Awol since we last saw him on a Sakaarian spaceship,...

This article contains She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finale spoilers
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law finished off its first season and it was a lot. Maybe it was a little. Or both at the same time. Either way, it was crazy and the fact that Marvel hyped it up with a trailer made entirely of old footage except for two brief shots of Hulk vs. Abomination was kind of brilliant considering where it led to.
As the final episode exploded in character callbacks and hackneyed twists turning into an oversaturated fight scene that Jen Walters felt did a disservice to her season-long storyline, the episode suddenly went full meta as She-Hulk confronted K.E.V.I.N., the AI behind the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Things got cute with references to the X-Men and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but ultimately, Jen erased Hulk’s grand return despite K.E.
