Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis revealed on Wednesday that she would not rule out subpoenaing former President Donald Trump in her office’s investigation into 2020 election meddling in Georgia, NBC News reported on Wednesday. Willis also told NBC that she expects to issue additional subpoenas to other allies to the former president.
“We’ll just have to see where the investigation leads us,” Willis said. “I think that people thought that we came into this as some kind of game. This is not a game at all. What I am doing is very serious.

The Fulton County grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s alleged meddling in Georgia’s 2020 presidential election has slapped a bevy of subpoenas on several figures tied to the former president, including Rudy Giuliani and Lindsey Graham.
John Eastman, Cleta Mitchell, Kenneth Chesbro, and Jenna Ellis — all of which were involved in Trump’s scheme to overturn the election results — also received subpoenas. So too did Sen. Lindsey Graham, as well as Jacki Pick Deason, a right-wing attorney and podcast host.

Seth Meyers devoted an entire segment to Russell Bowers on Thursday night, after the Arizona state House speaker went on record this week saying that he’d vote for Trump again — even after admitting the former president repeatedly tried pressuring him to overturn fair election results.
In an interview with the Associated Press the day before his testimony to the January 6 select committee, Bowers said that if Trump was running against Biden again in 2024, he would vote for Trump again. On “Late Night,” Meyers was particularly floored by the idea, considering how damning Bowers’ testimony has been for Trump aides, including Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis. And thus, Bowers became the target of Meyers’ segment called “Hey!”
“Rusty Bowers, what are you talking about? Did you not hear what you said?” Meyers questioned. “Come to think of it, this might not even be a ‘Hey!’ this might be ‘What the Hell?...

Seth Meyers has been thoroughly unimpressed with the tactics that right-wingers pushing Trump’s election lies have been using, especially as more come to light in the Jan. 6 hearings. So, on Wednesday night’s show, he got blunt, calling out “dips—s” like Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis and Ron Johnson.
When it came to Giuliani and Ellis — both of whom were on Trump’s legal team — Meyers honed in on testimony from Arizona state House speaker Russell Bowers. As he testified to the committee this week, when he asked for specific names and ballots of people who purportedly voted fraudulently, Giuliani turned to Ellis, who said, “It’s not with me, but we can get it to you.”
“I mean, this is just me, but if I was preparing for a high stakes meeting with a prominent Republican official to convince him to overturn their state’s election results, reversing...

“Fox & Friends” swung into action Friday after Oprah Winfrey’s strong embrace of Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams, with one guest warning viewers that the daytime queen was being used to as a left-wing prop to promote Socialism.
“I don’t think that her platform will help,” said Gop strategist Jenna Ellis. “Oprah really represents the far left’s socialist agenda and that’s not going to resonate in the mid-terms with the American family that cares about money in their pockets, cares about the economy, cares about the things that President Trump has done in terms of putting America first.”
Ellis said that Georgia voters would be much more inclined to embrace hard right religious figures James Dobson and Franklin Graham who would promote traditional “family values.”
