A new Guy Ritchie project is launching at the Cannes market with Black Bear.
Plot details are being kept under wraps and casting is in process but Wife And Dog will deal with class in a similar vein to recent Netflix TV series The Gentlemen.

When it was originally announced that the original X-Men series would continue its story 30 years after it ended, there weren’t many expectations. However, since X-Men ’97 began its run, the acclaim and attention it is getting is truly spectacular. On top of older fans tuning into the story again, the conversation around the series and its release has gathered new viewers as well.

The story began right where it left off, and fans were hoping to be eased into the harsher parts of the world. However, as some have put it, more blood has been shed in this show than in all of Disney’s history.

Recently, Marvel fans have been turning their attention to the X-Men. After the release of the popular ‘X-Men ’97,’ excitement is building for the live-action reboot that Feige teased years ago.
Over the years, the X-Men franchise has seen its fair share of live-action adaptations, with varying levels of success. Unfortunately, one of the least well-received adaptations was ‘The New Mutants’ in 2020.
‘The New Mutants’ got mixed reviews because of its uneven pacing, lack of character growth, and storyline that left some feeling disappointed or confused. While some liked its darker tone and unique take on superheroes, others thought it fell short. The movie also faced delays and reshoots, which might have hurt its reception.
Now, 4 years later, and with mutants back in the spotlight, Henrique Zaga hopes for another chance to play Sunspot. In a recent interview with CoveredGeekly, Zaga expressed his desire to return to the MCU as a significant mutant.

In the last few weeks, fans of Marvel media have definitely shifted their focus toward the X-Men. With the highly successful ‘X-Men ’97’ being released, fans are now looking forward to the live-action ‘X-Men’ reboot that Feige promised years ago.
X-Men has seen plenty of live-action adaptations over the years, and some were better received than others. One of the worst adaptations however was ‘The New Mutants’ released in 2020.
‘The New Mutants” received mixed reviews primarily due to its uneven pacing, lack of character development, and a storyline that some found to be underwhelming or disjointed. While some appreciated its darker tone and unique approach to the superhero genre, others felt it didn’t fully deliver on its potential. Additionally, the film underwent significant delays and reshoots, which may have contributed to its less-than-stellar reception.

The Marvel Studios finally made way for the X-Men to join the MCU and leave behind Fox, following this year’s Deadpool 3. Meanwhile, following fans’ excitement, Henry Zaga recently opened up about his desire to return as Sunspot in the MCU.

Previously appearing in Marvel’s 2020 horror sci-fi movie The New Mutants, Henry Zaga played the role of Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot. Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on war correspondent Damien Lewis’s book of the same name, which tells the true story of an unsanctioned British military mission to sink the German ships that supplied all of their U-boats around the Spanish island of Fernando Po during World War II. The film also makes a point of announcing that the story comes from documents from Winston Churchill’s first term in office that were declassified in 2016, introducing each shrewd and ruthlessly efficient member of the ragtag crew carrying out this mission with a litany of their qualifications.
Narratively, the film plays out like a traditional historical thriller, yet it turns these men into impossibly proficient, virtually invincible killing machines who dispose of Nazis with such casual ease that they might as well be superheroes. And not only is the leader of this vicious, unruly pack, Major Gus March-Phillips,...

Director Guy Ritchie’s “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” may be based on secret, real-life WWII commandos, but that didn’t stop him up from upping the Nazi-killing brutality.
In a couple gleefully bloody scenes, Henry Cavill’s character Major Gus March-Phillipps massacres Nazis while sticking his tongue out in a joyful, manic grin. As it turns out, Cavill improvised the scene, which caught viewers’ attention in the action film’s first trailer.
“It was a co-improvisation between Guy and myself,” Cavill told Variety at the film’s New York premiere Monday. “Guy said, ‘I want you to have more fun with it. Stick your tongue out or something.’ And so we did and it stuck, as featured quite well in the trailer. That was the first moment where we decided Gus was going to be slightly unhinged in these moments, and that makes it more fun.”

The 40-year-old actor was joined at the event by many of his co-stars, including Eiza Gonzalez, who stunned in a gold, strapless dress.
Also in attendance at the premiere were Babs Olusamokun, Cary Elwes, Henrique Zaga, Henry Golding and Hero Fiennes Tiffin.
The upcoming war movie is based on the recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, and tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming.

Alex Garland may have said that he’s not planning to direct again in the foreseeable future, but he is currently directing another film while his movie Civil War heads out into the world and he works on the scripts for the upcoming 28 Years Later trilogy (a follow-up to his Danny Boyle collaboration 28 Days Later). Garland’s new directorial effort is called Warfare, and he’s co-directing it with Ray Mendoza, who served as the military supervisor for Civil War. Garland and Mendoza also wrote the screenplay together. As Warfare moves forward, Deadline has just revealed the names of several cast members: Noah Centineo (The Recruit), Michael Gandolfini (The Many Saints of Newark), Taylor John Smith (Where the Crawdads Sing), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn), Henrique Zaga (The Stand), and Evan Holtzman (Hidden Figures).

Creating eye-catching movie posters is an art. In the past, we’ve all seen some gnarly one-sheets that miss the mark due to formulaic layouts or studio interference. Thankfully, today’s new poster for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (shown below) is on target, with cast members looking cool, dangerous, and ready for action. In the explosive poster, members of the film’s murder squad brandish weapons in preparation to punch holes in the enemy, and they’re not about to take any prisoners. The poster implies a fun, action-filled romp with Ritchie’s flare for ensemble dynamics.

The film is actually based on a true story, inspired by the 2014 book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. Ritchie obviously puts his own twist on the story with the aid of a cast that also includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, and Til Schweiger, plus Henry Golding and Cary Elwes.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is set to hit theaters on April 19th, 2024 through Lionsgate. Watch the newly revealed trailer below.
This isn’t the only spy thriller starring Cavil that will hit theaters in the near future. This weekend sees the release of Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle, which stars Cavill alongside Bryce Dallas Howard,...

Has anyone told Guy Ritchie that it's totally okay to take a nap, get some water, or slow down before he burns himself out? The prolific English film director, producer, and screenwriter has been firing on all cylinders for the last 25 years, churning out thrillers, action comedies, spy dramas, and even a live-action Disney movie to boast one of the most impressive filmographies of any director working today. Last year saw the release of both "Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre" and "Guy Ritchie's The Covenant," with the latter hitting theaters in April. Now, Ritchie's next film is slated for release almost a year later to the day with "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare." I say this with the utmost love and respect — that's a title that sounds like the result of a "Guy Ritchie Movie" movie title generator. This is to say, I'll absolutely be there on opening night to catch this nonsense.

The first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s World War II drama starring Henry Cavill has been released by Lionsgate.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is inspired by recently declassified files of the British War Department, which told of a secret band of military officials formed by Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
From the official description: “The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British Sas and modern Black Ops warfare.”
Ian Fleming — the author of the James Bond novels — was a member of the group.
The project reunites Ritchie and Cavill, who previously teamed for 2015’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Ministry also stars Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin,...

Fountain Of Youth will be directed by Guy Ritchie, with Natalie Portman and John Krasinski taking the lead roles. More here.
Just yesterday, we got the news of an April release date for the next Guy Ritchie-directed feature, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare. That film has a star-heavy cast, including Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusamokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes.
Ritchie has wasted little time getting his next project going, though, and he’s venturing more in the direction of blockbuster filmmaking again. Apple and Skydance have lured him to Fountain Of Youth, a heist adventure movie about two siblings who aren’t getting on, on the search for, well, the fountain of youth. Sounds a bit Indiana Jones-influenced on the surface.

Because, of course, just having a death curse placed on Nace that prevents them from ever being together isn’t bad enough. Ya gotta go and have a soulmate who is also a Sin Eater with perfect hair. Colin Bentley/The CW In TV Insider’s exclusive clip from the series finale, “The Light Between Lives,” Nancy comes to after having a series of visions that clue her in to why she and Tristan seem to be so entangled.

The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare: Everything We Know About Guy Ritchie's World War II Spy Movie
Few major directors have been known to churn out a film like Guy Ritchie. In recent years, at least, the British director has moved from one project to another with a fascinating quickness; he's pretty much the anti-Baz Lurhmann in that regard. Not unlike Luhrmann though, Ritchie has his own distinctive, bombastic style — and a growing pool of actors he likes to collaborate with.
I'm no expert, but Ritchie seems like a properly fun director to work with, so much so that a number of Ritchie regulars are returning for the director's latest project, an espionage epic called "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare."
With so many other projects on his plate already — the sequel to his live-action "Aladdin," a live-action take on Disney's "Hercules," and a TV spin-off of "The Gentlemen" — it's a wonder that Ritchie's found the time. Does he hire little helpers? Does he have a clone? Whatever his secret,...

Netflix commemorated five years of local production releases in Brazil last November announcing a drive into production outside the country’s two traditional powerhouse bases of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Last week, Netflix Brazil revealed more productions set across the country’s vast terrain to bring compelling and fresh narratives to the platform.
“Ricos de Amor” relocates to Northern Brazil for a second season. Produced by São Paulo’s Prodigo Films, “Invisible City,” the first live action title from “Ice Age” creator Carlos Saldanha, has direction and production teams working out of Belém, Pará, in northern-most Brazil.
“This is a very special series, with diverse artists, with accents from all over Brazil,” said Lucy Alves of “Só Se For Por Amor,” in which she stars. “When we see something this big being done in the countryside we identify a lot… it’s immediate,” she added.

Henry Zaga, the actor known for roles in “Teen Wolf,” “13 Reasons Why” and “The New Mutants,” is playing the leading man in Netflix’s upcoming Brazilian romantic comedy “Depois do Universo.”
Giulia Be, a singer who was nominated for best new artist at this year’s Latin Grammys, is starring alongside Zaga.
Diego Freitas wrote and directed “Depois do Universo,” which translates to “Beyond the Universe.” It centers on Nina (Be), a talented pianist who has lupus, an autoimmune disease that attacks her kidney. She forges an unexpected yet strong connection with Gabriel (Zaga), one of the doctors on the team who takes care of her and later gives her to confidence to play on stage with a huge orchestra in São Paulo. According to Netflix, the film’s main message is: “Living a great love is worth it, for as long as it takes.”

This article contains spoilers for the sixth episode of The Stand.
In episode 6 of the CBS All Access limited series The Stand, “The Vigil,” several critical things happen: Mother Abigail (Whoopi Goldberg), out on her spiritual quest in the wilderness to communicate with God, has an unexpected confrontation with Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard) instead before she retreats, physically depleted, to the Boulder Free Zone.
Her return, however, coincides with Harold Lauder (Owen Teague) and Nadine Cross (Amber Heard) successfully pulling off their plan to stage a terrorist attack in the Free Zone, detonating a bomb in Abigail’s house that results in the death of Boulder leader and Abigail’s “voice,” the deaf, mute and partially blind Nick Andros (Henry Zaga).
In the previous week’s episode, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas,” Frannie Goldsmith (Odessa Young) sent Larry Underwood (Jovan Adepo) to break into Harold’s house and see what he could learn,...

Now that we are reaching the mid-point of The Stand with it’s fourth episode, the focus should be moving onto how people fight against the Flagg. This is exactly what we get, but the problems with the show are starting to become obvious.
With questions beginning to be asked in the Boulder Free Zone, leadership is called for. Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard) uses Nadine (Amber Heard) to influence Harold (Owen Teague), and spies are sent out into the west to find out more about what the Dark Man has planned.
What is starting to trouble me about The Stand in this new format is that the show is meant to be about an America where 99.9% have succumbed to Captain Trips and the world should feel empty. There is a distinct lack of...

Now onto the third episode of The Stand, it is obvious that things have to start happening. With so many characters still to be discovered though, it’s almost expected we’ll be seeing plenty of flashbacks. Now that we are used to mixing the past with current events, is The Stand keeping things interesting?
This episode of The Stand introduces new characters while fleshing out a few that we’ve only seen glimpses of. Nick Andros (Henry Zaga) is a main focus, so that we can be introduced to a character I was looking forward to seeing, Tom Cullen (Brad William Henke). We are also introduct to Glen Bateman (Greg Kinnear). On the darker side of things, Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard) has a message for Mother Abagail (Whoopi Goldberg) and we see look...
