Emerging film director Kelvin Shum from Hong Kong started his career in theater and short films in Australia and the United States. In 2019, his experimental short “We Shall Overcome” won multiple awards including Best Thriller and Best Director during its run in many film festivals around the world. Praised for its striking visuals, “Deliverance” (2022), a psychological thriller starring Summer Chan and Simon Yam, is his first feature-length film.
In “It Remains”, Shum and Chan are back in bringing us a supernatural horror adventure set in a secluded village on a remote island far away from the busy city. While mourning the death of his girlfriend, Zi Jie, a grief-stricken young waiter keeps getting flashbacks of the car accident that killed her. In an attempt to console him, his three friends take him to a small village hopping nature and the remoteness would enable him to find solace.

After almost two decades of healing wounds, both physical and romantic, the staff of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital is still going strong.
Despite the onscreen departure of series star Ellen Pompeo, Grey’s Anatomy has already been picked up for its 20th season, meaning fans had plenty to celebrate at the show’s PaleyFest panel, held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday.
Krista Vernoff — who will depart as showrunner after the 19th season — was joined onstage by 15 members of the current ensemble cast, including Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington, Kelly McCreary, Kim Raver, Jake Borelli, Chris Carmack, Anthony Hill, Alexis Floyd, Harry Shum Jr. Adelaide Kane, Midori Francis and Niko Terho.
The audience unleashed raucous applause as soon as moderator (and original castmember) T.R. Knight appeared, and they only grew louder as series stalwarts such as Wilson and Pickens took to the stage.

By amassing hundreds of film and TV credits over the past seven decades, James Hong has cemented himself as an indelible figure in the history of screen entertainment. Having just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last May, the 93-year-old is now reaping the benefits of taking on one of his most high-profile roles yet in “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” His inclusion in the movie’s ensemble is expected to lead to his first Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, which would make him the oldest film performer ever recognized by the organization.
Hong appears in “Everything Everywhere All at Once” as Gong Gong, the irascible father of Michelle Yeoh’s lead character, Evelyn Wang. He, Yeoh, and Stephanie Hsu share a connection in that they have all voiced characters in the “Kung Fu Panda” franchise. Also included among Hong’s potential fellow nominees for Best Film Ensemble are Ke Huy Quan,...

Glee fans crying foul over show’s decision not to pick up Chord Overstreet’s Season 3 contract option can all just simmer down now.
