Received two awards from the UC Berkeley theater department: (1) The Mark Goodson Prize for Distinguished Theatrical Talent, and (2) The Mask and Dagger Memorial Prize for Extraordinary Contributions to Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies.
Intae's name means "kind" ('in') and "successful" ('tae').
Attended college at UC Berkeley, where he accomplished the rare feat of appearing in the main-stage show at Zellerbach Playhouse all four years.
He is of Korean descent. Both his parents grew up in South Korea before immigrating to the United States.
