Toby Bond
- Composer
Toby Bond is a Canadian composer and musician based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A classical violist and composer by training, his musical work spans a diverse range of genres from neoclassical compositions to minimalist electronic music and psychedelic rock. In film, he is best-known for his work on the original score for the 2014 movie: Wolfcop (as well as the 2017 sequel: Another Wolfcop). The score for the Wolfcop movies was produced with Saskatoon-based psych rock band, Shooting Guns (which he also joined as a keyboardist in 2015). Toby has also worked with shooting guns on a modern live score for the 1922 classic film: Nosferatu. Toby is also a classically trained violist and pianist, and has composed several original works for solo instruments and small ensembles. His works for film combine classic analog synthesizers with bowed strings, guitars, and electroacoustic keyboards.
