Nik Apostolides
Nik Apostolides is an arts leader, educator, and independent curator.
Nik is an adjunct professor/lecturer of Curatorial Studies in the MA Museum Studies program at Johns Hopkins University. He served as the Associate Director of the National Portrait Gallery, and as the Associate Manager of Planning at the National Gallery of Art.
Nik has curated art exhibitions in the United States and around the world. In 2014-15, he curated an exhibition of photography by the artist CYJO that toured to five museums in China. In 2020, he curated the Art Gallery at SIGGRAPH which showcased the best in immersive media art, including VR, AR, and 3D animation, and computer-based art.
Nik founded the Capital Experience Lab, a museum-immersive public middle school startup in Washington, D.C.
