Keith Loudon
Keith Loudon of Britain's longest serving stockbrokers and a former mayor of Leeds has been awarded an OBE for services to business and the community in his home city.
Keith Loudon, 1933 has worked at Leeds-based Redmayne Bentley for more than 58 years, and he also served as Lord Mayor of Leeds from 1993 to 1994.
During his career, Mr Loudon has witnessed revolutionary changes in the financial world, but he still believes the old-fashioned virtues of honesty and integrity are paramount.
As senior partner at Redmayne Bentley, Mr Loudon has seen the firm develop into one of the UK's largest independently owned stockbrokers, with more than 300 staff and almost 40 branches.
