ESPN reporter Josina Anderson is out at the network, an individual with knowledge of the decision told TheWrap.
The decision to release Anderson is not related to any coronavirus-led cutbacks at ESPN nor Disney. In April, ESPN executives and some of its top TV talent took pay cuts. Anderson’s role will be filled by network veterans Field Yates, Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano and Dianna Russini, as well as newcomer Kimberley Martin.
ESPN declined to comment. The New York Post was first to report on Anderson’s ouster.

ESPN’s award-winning series “E:60” headed to Paradise, California for a special episode airing Tuesday night.
Titled “Paradise: From the Ashes,” reporter Tom Rinaldi and producer Russell Dinallo witnessed first-hand the devastation reaped by last year’s wildfires that destroyed most of the small town in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
“E:60” follows the impact of the Camp Fire on the Paradise High School football team, where only three players and two coaches escaped without losing their homes — but their spirit and drive to win survived.

“We’re displaced all over this nation,” one high school player says in a voiceover for Tuesday’s episode. “I was afraid that things would never be the same again.”
Head coach Rick Prinz explained why after the town had been through such a tragedy that “Paradise is still a football town.

Three-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski has a head injury — but don’t panic, this one is from a beer can thrown at the New England Patriots victory parade, not a hit by the Los Angeles Rams defense.
The tight end, whose 29-yard catch from Tom Brady in Super Bowl Liii was the only one in the red zone for either team, visited the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night to show off his wounds.
“The parade, millions of fans showed up to watch you and celebrate you, and you had to go ‘full Gronk’ for them,” Fallon marveled.

“The parade is hands down the best party, it’s the best experience anyone can go through,” Gronkowski replied. “We had 1.5 million people on the city of Boston, the Patriots Nation is always represented.

Super Bowl Liii Mvp Julian Edelman admitted that he’s hasn’t slept since his team won the Super Bowl on Sunday, but that didn’t stop him from hamming it up for the media just hours after the New England Patriots’ victory party shutdown.
“It’s a huge honor to get this award, but honestly, I am just so proud of all these guys that we have this year. The ups and downs that we all had, the ebbs and flows of the season. You play all year to see how the team shapes up, to see how this team grinded and worked this week,” the wide receiver told reporters in a morning press conference on Monday. “When things weren’t at their best, to constantly go out and improve shows that the 2018 New England Patriots are a resilient group and it was unbelievable.”

ESPN has set a radical new game plan for “Get Up!” its ambitious attempt at a morning sports-talk show that has so far failed to gain the network a broader audience in the time slot.
The Walt Disney-owned network said co-host Michelle Beadle, one of its most colorful and distinctive personalities, would leave the program as of August 29, and move to Los Angeles to focus more intently on her other duties at ESPN as the host of its popular “NBA Countdown.” The basketball program had originated from ESPN’s Los Angeles production facilities before moving to New York to accommodate Beadle’s new morning duties as well as those of “Get Up” co-host Jalen Rose. The former NBA star is expected to continue working on “Get Up” when “he has no ‘NBA Countdown’ responsibilities in Los Angeles,” the network said.
