If you’re a fan of the 1992 classic Candyman (watch it Here) and Tony Todd‘s performance as the title character, we have some very cool news to share with you today, but you might also find that this news has a discouraging edge to it. Here’s the cool part of it: Premium Collectibles Studio has announced that they will be releasing a 1/3 scale Candyman statue, and this thing – which is expected to ship out sometime between July and September of 2024 – looks incredible. But here’s the potential downside: the statue has a retail price of $1300.
Here’s the information on the Candyman statue, courtesy of Toy Ark: Premium Collectibles Studio presents the Candyman 1:3 Scale Statue based on the terrifying antagonist of the 90s cult classic horror franchise of the same name. Standing at 28″ tall and 19″ wide, this fully sculpted piece showcases Candyman confidently posed atop a detailed...

The Night of the Living Dead (1990) episode of Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? was Written by Emilie Black, Narrated by Adam Walton, Edited by Victoria Verduzco, Produced by Andrew Hatfield and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Horror remakes are everywhere these days, but back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, there were quite a few less, in fact, they were pretty rare. Of course, some had come and gone, with varying degrees of quality and success. Some of the better ones are well remembered to this day, including The Thing, The Fly, and The Blob. In 1990, another remake came out to a bit less joy. In fact, it was downright hated by many, with Roger Ebert even putting it on his “Most Hated” list, something that was not entirely surprising as he had high regards for some of the George A. Romero originals that came before.

Marvel's "Spider-Man" was not merely a great superhero video game, it was one of the best games of any kind in recent memory. Sony kept fans waiting a long time for a sequel, which was formally announced in late 2021 and promised to feature Venom, voiced by none other than Candyman himself, Tony Todd. Now, many months later, the curtain has been pulled back and we were treated to a whopping 12 minutes worth of gameplay during today's PlayStation Showcase. In short, it looks like it's going to be well worth the wait.
I only had the chance to play the first "Spider-Man" game late last year once I got my Steam Deck, since the game was finally made available for PC. But this massive gameplay trailer looks like it's going to deliver more of the same, albeit with quite a few next-gen upgrades for the PlayStation 5 era, including impressive graphics, even better cinematic cutscenes,...
