Reign, a break dancer, and performer for the Miami Sol, befriended the avid battle rapper after meeting at several dance sessions and battles. After a two year hiatus from the local dance scene, Reign re-emerged as a casting director and photographer in South Miami Beach and brought Sonday aboard as a casting and photo assistant. Sonday would go on to alongside Reign (camera operator) on Mudman, a feature film shot in the Florida Everglades. Sonday acted as a Digital Imaging Technician and would go on to assume several other roles on film production sets including Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, and Assistant Camera. In 2016 Sonday was offered a grip position on the upcoming film Affairs of State, where he was trained by veteran grips Brent Matejcek and Matt Haycox. Haycox would eventually leave the production early granting Sonday the position as Best Boy Grip. He would go on to work on the feature film Art Show Bingo and the AMC original drama TURN: Washington's Spies.
