Over the years, many Survivor castaways have had to be pulled from the game for their safety. Some get injured during challenges, while others’ bodies succumb to the elements. Unfortunately for Neal Gottlieb, he had to join the exclusive group of Survivor medical evacuations during season 32, aka Survivor: Kaôh Rōng — Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty.

Survivor Season 32 split the show’s 18 castaways into three tribes — Brains, Brawn, and Beauty. And Neal, as an Ice Cream Entrepreneur, fit right in with the Brains tribe on Survivor: Kaôh Rōng — Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty.
Neal quickly connected with Aubry Bracco, and the twosome later found themselves in the middle of Liz Markham and Peter Baggenstos vs. Debbie Wanner and Joe del Campo, which helped them survive their first Tribal Council.

Survivor is a brutal game, and every castaway that signs up to play knows the risks that come along with it. Producers thrust them into dangerous conditions, including unfamiliar species, limited resources, and harsh weather. Sadly, sometimes the CBS reality competition series’ circumstances result in medical evacuations from the show. And that’s what happened to Caleb Reynolds in Survivor Season 32, aka Survivor: Kaôh Rōng — Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty.

Lydia Meredith is a lot of things: actress, writer, bartender, waitress. But now she’s filling another role as one of the castaways on “Survivor 42.” The Santa Monica native says in her CBS interview that she hopes to be seen as “the loving, fun little sister” by her fellow tribemates. That reputation will allow her, she reasons, to “gather all the knowledge that I possibly can and use that as my advantage in the game” (watch below).
While Lydia is self-deprecating about not always looking like a big thinker, she notes that on the inside, she’s always deep in thought. “My brain never shuts off,” she reveals. “It’s never over until it’s over, and I 100% will always keep fighting until I die, basically.” She adds that she is ready for whatever “Survivor” host Jeff Probst sends her way, a good attitude to have in this twist-heavy era of the show.

As Season 38 of “Survivor: Edge of Extinction” comes to a close this Wednesday with a three-hour finale, it continues to deliver innovations — some good, some not so good — to CBS’ venerable reality show’s format. I still have mixed feelings about having a horde of eliminated players crawling around Extinction Island like Gollum from “The Lord of the Rings.” Reem Daly, the first voted-out contestant, is like a cranky Greek sea creature, barking out her displeasure as those who banished her arrive one by one.
And if I never see another “Survivor” cast-off standing before those three signs explaining their Extinction options and then basically saying, “Heck yeah, I’m going,” before grabbing that lit torch, I won’t miss it. Considering that only two contestants, Wendy Diaz and Keith Sowell, have actually left the game, that means the will be a record 13 jury members determining the fates of the...

On Day 1 on Season 38 of “Survivor,” contestant Ron Clark (above) found an envelope labeled “Secret Advantage” under a crate of vegetables while aboard the boat transporting the players to their homes away from home. When he finally had a chance to sneak off by himself to read it, it turned out to be an advantage menu — just the second time such an item has appeared on the show.
There were three options to choose from if and when he decided to use it. Ron could steal the reward won by another tribe after a challenge; get an extra vote at Tribal Council; or he could get individual immunity, which acts like an hidden immunity idol that is played before the votes are read.
But Ron never got any benefit from his find since he had to use it before the third Tribal Council was held — and his Kama tribe never...

Kelley Wentworth might have had a sense of deja vu during a difficult endurance challenge on episode 8, “I’m the Puppet Master,” on this week’s edition of “Survivor: Edge of Extinction.” As the fourth player to drop out of the challenge where individual immunity was at stake, she got a bird’s-eye view of the moment when her closest ally in the game, college athlete Lauren O’Connell, 21, suddenly started to black out and fall to the ground.
Kelley is one of four veteran castaways who was previously on Season 29 “Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water” and Season 31 “Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance.” It was in Cambodia that she witnessed her fellow “Extinction” returnee, Joe Anglim, swoon and fall during an endurance challenge when he suffered from low blood sugar (see video above).

Survivor: Game Changers is, sadly, heading toward the end of its season. After Sarah's betrayal of her majority alliance, though, the season might as well be brand-new with how much the game has changed. Sarah's shift in the power dynamics promises that this crazy season is going to get even crazier. No one is safe anymore. It's a tall order given the shocking blindsides, but let's make some predictions for whose torch will be snuffed out in the next episode and be given a fate worse than death: sitting next to Debbie on the jury.

Since the merge, Survivor: Game Changers contestant Sarah has been heavily featured in the all-star season. All of Sarah's screen time resulted in her finally making the big move that she has (arguably) been talking about pulling off since her first Survivor season, Cagayan. Sarah flipped on her majority alliance and booted Debbie, the woman with a thousand jobs, out of Survivor. Debbie being blindsided at the height of her arrogance was some fantastic TV but it might not have been the best move for Sarah's game. Sarah made a big move but she might have signed her own Survivor death warrant.

Survivor: Game Changers brings back 20 of Survivor‘s most memorable players for another chance at the million dollar prize and the title of “sole survivor.”
It’s not the first time the hit CBS competition series has invited some of its all-star players to play television’s hardest game. But there’s favorite player fans won’t see in the mix: “Boston Rob” Mariano.
The father of four, who is married to fellow Survivor alum Amber Brkich, has competed four separate times — including 2011’s Survivor: Redemption Island, which he won. But that’s likely the last time Mariano will be throwing on his buff.

It has been quite a topsy-turvy world on Survivor: Kaoh Rong this season. Just when you are sure someone is going to be voted out, they manage to secure their safety. There are also enough blindsides to give you whiplash.
Debbie Wanner, who is certainly one of the most interesting characters this season, was surprised to find out that her alliance had turned on her. So who will be leaving the game and joining the jury in week 10? Let's break it down.

Debbie Wanner has been called many things on Survivor: Kaoh Rong. She has been called a chemist, a waitress and a part-time model by herself. Debbie has also been called awful, annoying and loud by everyone else living with her. The most outrageous claim about Debbie has been one out of her own mouth though.
Debbie thinks she is a mastermind and this couldn't be further from the truth. Debbie is not nearly as smart as she thinks she is, despite the fact that she landed on the Brains tribe. This doesn't mean that Debbie isn't playing a good game of Survivor. It's just a different game than the one she thinks she is playing.

Everything went wrong last night on "Survivor: Kaoh Rong."
Even host Jeff Probst said he was "the most frightened I've been in all my time on 'Survivor,'" and this is Season 32. Three people collapsed. One was evacuated. And the episode ended with an infuriating round of bullying, hypocrisy, and the elimination of the most likable person on the Brawn tribe.
The drama started right away at the Reward Challenge. Everyone has talked about the particularly difficult conditions this season, and the heat took its toll when the players had to dig in the hot sun, with no hydration or protection. Debbie Wanner of the Brains tribe was the first to drop. Probst checked on her, and made sure she was fine. Then Cydney Gillon of the Brawn tribe and Caleb Reynolds of the Beauty tribe (and also "Big Brother 16") both dropped, and it was clear they were really in trouble.
